5. Dogs or Cats and Why? Love them, but allergic to dogs and cats

Did you know that Poodles do not have fur? They have hair like we do so are they great pets for people with allergies to fur and pet dander.

Also, they do not shed. :thumbsup2

We have decided not to go to the parks this time around. We will only be missing a week of school for our daughter. So we leave NW GA around 2:15 when we pick her up and drive straight down to PC. We will be staying at Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach since we will be there barely 12 hours. It just doesn't make sense to spend a ton of money on a one night hotel.

I keep checking every day for brunch slots to open up. Nothing so far. :sad2:

I have heard of a special breed of poodle like that is meant for people with allergies, can't think of the name right now but it ends in poo.....

Here's another question, and I'll apologize in advance. Whenever I'm making a decision I look at EVERY possibility and angle before deciding. How do they give you the difference?? Is it ship credit or do they mail you a check?? Or put it back on your credit card?? Or just give you 5 $100 bills when you check in??? ;) I can see Pooh_Girl now when we check in: "Can I get those in 20s and 10s!!"

I have been checking nonstop too with no luck. Anyone intersted in doing another request for the private room I think there
are enough of us now that hasn't be able to book brunch, can you request the private room for dinner too:confused3

There is a cockapoo and something else. There are also Labradoodles. Which sounds like a spin off of the Doodlebops! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ooooh, and Miniature Schnauzers. I've looked into the breed quite a bit and have spent time with two different families who have mini schnauzers and I just love them. If we ever get to the point where we have a dog instead of the cat, it'll definitely be one of those. Of course, you have to have them groomed since they'll need "haircuts" and don't shed... but I love the idea of a pet who doesn't shed. If I find one more cat hair.... *sigh*

Not sure. I know a couple of people have a request for a private room for brunch. I read there are two seatings of brunch. Do they do a private room for more than one seating?

Good evening Everybody! Just think that in less than 2 months you will be sitting on deck with a frozen drink in hand looking at the ocean with a breeze in your face. :cool1: Ahhhh, I can almost feel it. Now I will try and get caught up after a crazy couple of days at work. :surfweb:

I used to administer "distance education". Now it's just...normal. How neat that you can participate so easily and still spend time away.

"Camp" = cottage or cabin? Hunting camp? I have a friend in MS who has explained something of the importance of the hunting camp in their family, a real tradition. Same?

And, on the laundry thing--you need to spend some time with my dh. Maybe it'll rub off??

I 'work' for The Salvation Army as the CFO of the MD and WV units. I live/work in the Baltimore area. The IT Department is a part of my Finance Department. :surfweb:

The Salvation Army owns a camp ground for the two states in Hedgesville, WV. In the summer kids from the two states come here for overnight camp programs. The rest of the year it's used for various meetings and training. When we installed satellite internet this year we could hold some IT training here instead of just Baltimore.:surfweb: :thumbsup2

It is a great place to spend a quiet few days. The deer are really out now a lot.

Well now I'm REALLY confused. What if your credit card balance is at zero?? How do they add a credit when there's nothing there?? For instance, my TA is my DSIL and I have been making all of our payments to her personally, and she's been putting our trip on her credit card, so that she could get the Disney Reward points. So if we do this, then they are going to credit her with however much money and she has to write a check to me?? Is that correct? My head really hurts now.
