I had a commercial lemon meringue pie with yummy meringue for the first time in forever recently. Usually it tastes fake to me. A good pie is a glorious thing. :thumbsup2

it's about that time where everyone comes out of the woodwork to play Grab the pirate:

I take the puffy meringue off and eat the lemon filling and the crust :rolleyes1

Dennis is the same way. Even when I drive he cannot nap so he just keeps on driving!

The only time I drive with dh in the car is when he really needs a designated driver!! Otherwise, yep, he's too...engaged...to relax.

greattttttttttt NOW dh tells me he bought Apple Cider too.. We could of had that instead of tea :sad2:

Yep, that's usually what I do, that "piled high" thing doesn't appeal as I have to scrape it off...but not this one. :lovestruc

Stacy, I've been following your posts about your boy's orthodonture, and cringing...I hope he's feeling better. Nothing's sore like a sore mouth. :(

DH, DS & I are leaving on the 24th for WDW and meeting DH's Aunt & Uncle for dinner.. Not sure where we are going yet.. I don't think it will be a Character dinner though.. :confused3

I'm excited for the MNSSHP on the 26th  I just wish DH & DS would dress up.. but it will never happen :guilty:

Has anyone ever done DCL on Halloween? I heard that DCL trick or treats onboard.. :hippie:

Stacy:

I was also sorry to hear about your son's orthodontic problems. It sounds really painful. :sad2:

I spent the day shopping for things I don't really need, but I had fun! I got reindeer antler foamie things at Michael's for us to wear when we're secret Santa'ing. (Dd is practically beside herself already. :cutie: ) A little 14" foamie Christmas tree craft for the stateroom. THe problem with those craft kits is I get all type A and won't let the kids do them in case they "mess them up". Ok, I'm more subtle than that, but one day they'll figure out Mommy keeps the glue gun to herself for more than their safety. :rolleyes1 And I got a hole punch so I can fit anything I want into my Passporter. I'm up too late experimenting with formats for my Outlook calendar so it'll fit.

Awww Thank You.. He is doing a little better..

I explained I called the orthodontist today and the office is close and tomorrow they are in another office, not the normal local one.. but if it still hurts I will call them up and make an appointment for Friday when they are back in town.. He seemed ok with that..

I think the problem is, he is frustrated.. He wants to eat but can't and he gets himself worked up.. like a normal teen does.. and makes the situation worse on himself..

I think by Friday he should be more use to it and how it works.. It may just be stiff because he is "babying" it.. Once he starts moving it, it should loosen up.. He says it pulls at times at that it was hurts..

I'm going to call the DR tomorrow and ask if that sounds right, like it is working properly..

Just noticing, Stacy, it's your ticker that gets dd excited--"look at all the presents!" Then I say, that's b/c of our secret Santa. We had to make a paper chain tonight b/c she keeps asking, "are we going on the Disney cruise tomorrow?"

ooohhh I was just at AC Moore and saw those type of things and didn't even think to grab some for Dec.. :headache: I saw the halloween ones but didn't buy any cause I don't know where i'd put them so the cat doesn't get them.. :cat:

Lemonchello is something boozy? My mom's drink was lemon squash and gin, squash is hard to find, but I always toast her in my heart whenever I have lemon anything.
