You know you could get a towncar for not much more than the DCL transport, and that way you could leave before the crowd. Just depends how important the Palo is to you.

Personally I've never eaten there in 3 cruises. I never had a chance before, but am looking forward to it this time.

I had thought about it just for the convenience factor. But once you figure in the tip for the driver, it actually comes up to about $100 more. It's definitely a better deal for people that have 4 or more in their party though.

Come to think of it, I was looking at "Round trip".... maybe we could do the car to the port and then just DCL transport back to the airport afterwards. hmm. I'll have to price that out.

Jasmine made sure I updated the Pirate List. Good night all!

..... I haven't been able to book Palo online so I'll need to do that relatively early the first day.

We have never dined at Palo's for dinner because we really love the rotation dining and our table mates.

On our second cruise we did the brunch by ourselves.

This year we are grouped with Angie and others for Palo's. We are looking forward to this. :thumbsup2

We did dinner at Palo on our first two. It's nice to have the "alone time," but it's really easy to get that other times onboard too, so I'm fine either way.

And I know DH doesn't care one way or the other. His part of the planning for our vacations consists of asking where his boarding pass is when we're walking up to security at the airport.

We're about to call it a night. I'm sorry you're still sick Beth.

And all that dental stuff sounded painful!

We've only gotten a boarding number when we checked into the Med Cruise. For our caribbean cruises we took the DCL bus down from WDW so I think we got there after they were done with the cards. I think if you get there after 1pm, its just open boarding.

Didn't even see you jump in

Good Night

feel better

That's my DW!

This last time I had her at least check us into the VWL. I told her just in case I died she needed to know how to do somethings for a vacation. :thumbsup2

I'm still hoping and wishing that by some "magic"al miracle DH & I will be able to have a Palo High Tea :wizard: but it just doesn't seem like it is going to happen :guilty:

Congrats!!! Pirate Jasmine !!! :cheer2:

arrggg pirate:

Jasmine's favorite part of the terminal is walking through the Mickey Ears. I must admit it gives me shivers too!:goodvibes

You mean THESE ears??

That is the backsides of DH, his friend, and his friend's wife... Right before we walked on the ganplank and right before Her key to the world card blew out of her hand and down into the water :scared1:

I don't mind so much. He has to make so many decision on a daily basis at work that I know he doesn't want to hear the pros and cons of Palo on Tuesday night versus Wednesday night. :lmao: And this way I get to do things I wanna do too. :rolleyes1

My only caveat is that if he doesn't wanna make any of the decisions then he can't complain about any of the decisions that are made either! :thumbsup2

DH is the same way... I ask opinions and I get "whatever you want to do is finewith me"

Bill sounds just like me, except I'm a Computer gamer, and not into the consoles like the XBOX. I still take my computer to "LAN parties" to get together with friends and play games for hours and hours. I drove to Connecticut several years back with some friends to attend a LAN party.

Maybe Bill and I will spend some time in the Oceaneers Lab, or the Stack, playing on their consoles :)

You both sound like my DH. He used to have a regular Thursday night thing at one guy's house. They didn't have to take their computers though because this one guy had something like 9 machines set up  They called it "Shoot Club"...and "the first rule of Shoot Club is...." :lmao:

He also does the consoles. We have at least one of each, two of a couple, and 3 of some. He justifies it by saying it's for work. Which it kinda is. He works in video games and needs to stay up on everything going on. He's been doing the Halo 3 thing a bit, but didn't seem as impressed by it as some. His current favorite is Quake Wars on the PC.

Me, I just play World of Warcraft :thumbsup2 Or, rather, I did... until my computer imploded. :sad1: But I'll be back in the next month or so! :thumbsup2

Wow... I now sound like a complete geek. :3dglasses

I guess I have always been a console guy going from some triangular shaped thing that had pong to Atari to Nintendo to Sega and finally to XBOX. I have played PC games :surfweb: from time to time but alot of them take a decent time investment to play and my adult ADD kicks in  or the kids/wife take priority. :rolleyes1 I have heard alot about World of Warcraft but our 10 year old computer can't cut it. :) Maybe one day.
