Which format did you download them under? I believe the Zen would support the Windows format so I would make sure you don't have the ITunes version. Does the downloaded file play on your computer before you try to synch it with your player? Sorry for the questions...'tis the nature of troubleshooting. :)

See, I knew there was help out there! ;)

:scared1:

Don't worry.. you can Buy a swimsuit and rent a Tux while on the ship.. and between ALL of us we should find some formal wear for you too...

I know I ALWAYS pack extras.. because from Past experience.. some days you put something on that you've worn before, but this time, it just doesn't feel right..

Last night, I changed my shirt 4 times before I decided to leave for the Casino & Rainforest Cafe :rolleyes1

It's so funny you said this because I was looking in my closet last night and saw the two dresses I've worn for semi-formal and formal nights before and thought "I'm not going to wear those again." I already have two pictures of me in each. And they've been worn a total of two times each in their lifetimes! Such a waste. And I began thinking "I bet someone else would wear them though." I just can't bring myself to throw away things that still have good life left in them.

I'm more than a bit....ermmm... "pooh sized" as it were though, and never count on buying clothes once I'm out the door for a vacation. It's worked out for the best in the past as I didn't see a single person that looked to be over a size 12 the entire time I was in Sweden. :lmao:

I hesitate to even say anything as this thread is supposed to be a happy place :hippie: and also since it was my beautiful, caring, and very tolerant wife  who made the initial comment, but I have to respectfully disagree with the clique statement. I think the people of this thread have been very welcoming to everyone and have truly embraced what a "meet" thread is all about. I felt like I was on the outside looking in for a while as work kept me from posting and Jennifer was very active on here, but as soon as things quieted down at work and I was able to post more, I was immediately made to feel a part of the "family". I am not a fan of politics in the office, home, or wherever, and I sincerely want to thank everyone for your open arms type of attitude and I cannot wait to meet you all in person! :goodvibes

:grouphug: :grouphug: :dance3: :woohoo: :grouphug:

Wow.. I TOTALLY agree with you on the whole "welcomed" I also do NOT believe in the "clique" We have been just as friendly to Newcomers as we have been to the "regulars". I made it my duty to make sure I said Hello to every newcomer who popped in.. Just so they would realize we welcome everyone here.. Even people who weren't booked on this cruise.. and I'm just overly friendly that way.

I for 1 also agreed with Jennifer about the song lyrics.. and the Nonesense posts in order to fight for a pirate: I kinda just past right through those and on to the posts that actually were a conversation..

Yes, I am guilty as well as going for a pirate: but.. I do believe every post I made was either an answer or a response to a question or a comment made on this thread.. I believe I kept my pirate: chasing posts down to a minimum..

But.... To each his own.. and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and their own decision..

and to you Bill personally.. It is nice to see a Man involved with us Chatty woman.. My DH would never, only because he can't type fast enough and I would be the one to type his answers.. :rolleyes1 It is refreshing to see we have 2 men with the "disney" excitment we all have..

Make that 3 men. DrHug jumps in occasionally and has a true Disney heart!

Awww.. I am far from petite.. I love my food and I enjoy every bite.. Oh and having a large, umm, Upper body, so it doesn't help me fit into anything with a low neck line, unless I want to let it "All Hang Out" :rolleyes1

DS went to a Viewing last night with our First Aid company of another First Aider who was DOA :guilty:

DS was in the attire for the First Aide but they all were wearing Black suit pants and DS only has Navy Blue.. He said he felt out of place, but at least he was there to show support to his fellow partners.

He has no school today or Monday so he did go with his Navy blue suit pants and uniform attire to the Funeral this morning and then to a Brunch afterwards..

I told him to look at the whole colored pants situation like this...

1. They are ALL older and don't grow inches per year and wouldn't have the need to buy a new suit every year like you would until you stop growing..

2. You are a cadet still until you are 18 so having Blue instead of Black, you just started your own fashion statement.. Next year we will get you Black..

3. You are there showing Respect & Support to your group by being there and that is the Main concept here.. who cares your pants are blue, not like you wore Jeans or Shorts

:goodvibes

I'd also point out to him that I very highly doubt that anyone will even notice his pants being a different color. Even if they did, it would be a passing glance and then move on.

It sounds like he's in a really good group of people and I'm sure they all have their priorities straight as to what the bigger picture is on a day like this. I remember the teenage years and thinking every faux pas was going to follow me for the rest of my life. But age really gives you perspective on what's important.

:grouphug: to you and your son

Good Morning!

Coastgirl: I'd offer to try to help but - 1- I'm really not that tech savvy and probably wouldn't be much help anyway and - 2- I kinda, sorta tend to blow computery type things up lately. :rolleyes1 But it's great about the airfare! I love getting awesome deals on airfare. And London to Dublin for 5 pounds? Was that Ryanair? :rotfl: We went from London to Edinburgh for 15 pounds before. :thumbsup2

Speaking of airfare, I feel like I gave my credit card a workout yesterday. Booked the airfare, the precruise night hotel, and bought trip insurance all within about an hour. Which is probably why the dreams have begun.... Does that happen to anyone else? Last night's dream was showing up at the port and realizing I'd packed no formal or semi-formal wear or swimsuits! In the dream, I told DH it was because I figured he wouldn't want to do formal nights and we'd just eat at Topsiders those nights and because his swimsuit didn't fit him anymore. :lmao:

In the dream, we all also had to work for part of the cruise. Like... it was part of the deal to go. My job was being one of those people that help people on and off the tenders. :rotfl2: In any case, it was one of those dreams that you wake up from wide awake - even if you've only had 4 hours sleep. I see a nap in my future today.

:rotfl: :lmao: This is one of those time when you hope that your dreams do NOT come true! :grouphug:

Thank You very much...

Funny story... His Captain, look at him, adjusted his tie for him and said, Oh, we don't need this in here.. a pulled out a long Tie length & shaped piece of Cardboard :lmao: DS said he didn't even realize it was in there when he put the tie on.. :confused3

The First Aid Company GAVE him the tie and the shirt because it has the First Aid Squad's patches and logos on it

He LOVES being a Volunteer.. he enjoys it even more because he is the Only codate and gets to go on every call and not have to play alternates with someone..

I forgot to include....for the first cruise day, I have the DISmeet info. I also have a section for the Secret Santa cabin list.

I need to get the Secret Santa cabin list printed for mine. I was holding off a bit thinking we may be adding a few since the prices are so good on this cruise.:woohoo:

Good thoughts to share with him. You sound like a really good mom. :cloud9:

Cruise ok so the "Official" :welcome: is Now in order.. I am soooo glad you will be joining us in our madness.. :thumbsup2 Congrats!!! on booking with DCL & us.. DH & I are also 2 adults alone on this cruise, we have 2nd seating and if you like I can add you to the others so we can link together for dinner rotation if you'd be interested.. Also I will add you to the Secret Mickey Exchange..

Sure, sign us up! Though I'm not sure how to do that. :confused3 Linking reservations is simply calling DCL with another person's reservation number?

I'm completely not fussed about which rotation we get. We've gotten the typical adult-without-kids rotation of LAPLAPL both other times we've cruised.

Though we'll probably be doing Palo on pirate: night (if I can get it once we're on board).

I apologize Stacy if this is a stupid  question or one that has already been answered, but what is First Aid? Thanks.

- Bill

My son is a Volunteer for our town's local First Aid Squad.. He gets to ride in the ambulance and help people.. He is certified in EKG, First Aid, CPR, and some other things I can't keep up with.

He goes to a Vocational school for Respitory Therapy and wants to become an EMT & a Respitory Therapist.

He is not an EMT yet because he is not 18 years old and hasn't been to EMT school. He is still in High School, he is a SR this year.
He will include an EMT class in his College courses.

:lmao:

At least he'll never have to worry about getting a skirt caught up in his pantyhose. :rotfl:

Oh and having a large, umm, Upper body, so it doesn't help me fit into anything with a low neck line, unless I want to let it "All Hang Out"

I am what could be called "amply endowed" myself. My formal dress shows off my more obvious attributes quite a bit. I have to find a really nice silver and sparkly pin to place strategically or all of my attributes will be on display! I wore it when I went to Binghamton, NY in August. It was my friend who pointed out that I was showing a bit more, perhaps, than I wanted to, and offered to lend me a pin. I was thinking "safety pin". She handed me a two-inch long koala bear pin, which was platinum and encrusted with diamonds (she has some money!). I was a nervous wreck all evening, sure that I would lose the pin and give everyone a free show!

Bill--I didn't see if anyone answered your question about First Aid--
In some parts of the country they're known as EMT's or EMS workers. They're the people who respond with the ambulance! My DS and DDIL are volunteer EMT's. It's good to know that someone responds to those in need. It's something I don't think I could do!

Beth

Oh My Gosh... I am soooo sorry.. I didn't mean to leave out DrHugs

shame on me...

Yes 3 men !!

:dance3:

Aw, he won't be sensitive about that. As long as he gets his hugs when we all meet. He does give the best hugs in the whole world. :grouphug:  He earned his name from one of his technicians when he worked at the VA hospital years ago. She was their computer support person and so had some "special powers". When we sign in our computers say "Good Morning, Angie" or Dennis or whatever your name is. He signed in one day and his said "Good Morning, DrHug." He loved it and it has stuck. Our neices, nephews and many friends now just call him DrHug. :grouphug:

I haven't asked for anyone's reservation numbers yet because I wanted to make sure we had everyone who wanted to join on the list..

Plus.. I wasn't sure exactly how to link us so we all have the same dinner time.. I know we all have 2nd seating but if it is as simple as calling DCL and putting us together I can do that.. :confused3

What a cute story..

I love hugs.. even with Strangers, :rotfl2: maybe I should get my mom's permission first though.. :rolleyes1

I'll throw my hat in as one who has some endowment as well. My problem has always been that I'll try something on and it looks great in the dressing room mirror, but then when I actually sit down, everything shifts and the girls come out to say hello! :confused3

I ended up using some chiffon once with a simple stitching around the edge to make a wrap that could offer a bit more modesty. Since then, I've always made it a point to carry a sheer black scarf with me... it goes with everything! :thumbsup2
