How old are they? There seems to be a definite age when hugging is "not cool." :sad1: My nephews always end up squirming when I hug them. But hey, I only get to see them a couple of times a year! They should expect it!

27 & 37

This reminds me of a question I had. For those of you with children, is there anything you'd rather not see in your stockings? Any allergies, restrictions, etc.? Is there anything that you'd rather they not have? It might be easier to just not put something in there than have to wrestle it away from them if they caught sight of it. :santa:

Thank you!! I started keeping track of the pirates just to encourage people to post.

And its fun when there are multiple people on at the time.

However, if the pirate thing is taking over the thread, then maybe we should stop keeping track? I'm much rather have my insomniac friend online than get a pirate:.

What does everyone think?

My $.02 ......

It adds fun and another dimension to the team building aspect of a thread. The most vital part of these threads (IMHO) over the years has been the getting to know each other to encourage fun interaction. The chase of a pirate: has been a part of each thread that I've been a part of.

There are lots of team building strategies and this is just one. We could do paintball but my screen keeps getting covered with paint!

Is it worth losing someone over? That answer is easy: no. :confused3 Would I like to continue? I would ..... but I will be happy to do as everyone thinks right.

Do I get any change back? :cool2:

Well, from my mouth to God's ears. Woke up from a nap this afternoon and found the blue screen of death.

 Having just fought an evil virus last weekend I feel for you. :grouphug:

We don't drink much at all, if ever. However, on our back-to-back in Nov., 2005 we managed a $350 bar bill, all at Cove Cafe, and all in eight nights.

Beth

We could spend that much at Cove Cafe ....... all for lattes though because we don't drink at all! :lmao:

I'll throw my hat in as one who has some endowment as well. My problem has always been that I'll try something on and it looks great in the dressing room mirror, but then when I actually sit down, everything shifts and the girls come out to say hello! :confused3

I ended up using some chiffon once with a simple stitching around the edge to make a wrap that could offer a bit more modesty. Since then, I've always made it a point to carry a sheer black scarf with me... it goes with everything! :thumbsup2

2 Pirates for the busty wench!

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

DD is home safe and sound, and we've already watched the HSM2 tape she brought back with her. (Coincidentally it is on AFN for the first time tonight :happytv: ) I need to go back and get caught up on all the posts. But congratulations to Cruise for her first 2 pirate:

The current score is based upon

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

 I know... I get a milestone post on a reply talking about my girls. How embarrassing is that?

On the other hand, does it make me a bit weird that I'm kinda digging being referred to as a busty wench? pirate:

OMG! OMG! :cool1:

Thanks Jennifer, I'll have to get to it when I get back, but I WILL persevere!

Just got a SW sale email and got our airfare for $550 for 4 for PERFECT dates!! WOOHOO!! That's from Manchester, NH--we'll be driving about 10 hrs to get there, but a sale from our local airport would be over $2000. We had points tickets booked, but had to change them anyway when we re-booked for the 7 day, so we'll save our points for a summer trip.

WOOHOO!! THat is the BEST airfare I have ever had in my LIFE!
(Ok, I once flew from London to Dublin for five pounds...)

Now I've got to go post about the deal on the Canadian board.

Will check back in after our little weekend jaunt.

:jumping1:

:woohoo: I love  SWA!

Great news on the fare. We also got a great fare from them for this trip. :thumbsup2

My son is a Volunteer for our town's local First Aid Squad.. He gets to ride in the ambulance and help people.. He is certified in EKG, First Aid, CPR, and some other things I can't keep up with.

He goes to a Vocational school for Respitory Therapy and wants to become an EMT & a Respitory Therapist.

He is not an EMT yet because he is not 18 years old and hasn't been to EMT school. He is still in High School, he is a SR this year.
He will include an EMT class in his College courses.

Wow! That is awesome that he knows what he wants to do at his age. I had no clue when I was in high school. :rolleyes1

.... Which is probably why the dreams have begun.... Does that happen to anyone else? Last night's dream was showing up at the port and realizing I'd packed no formal or semi-formal wear or swimsuits! In the dream, I told DH it was because I figured he wouldn't want to do formal nights and we'd just eat at Topsiders those nights and because his swimsuit didn't fit him anymore. :lmao:

In the dream, we all also had to work for part of the cruise. Like... it was part of the deal to go. My job was being one of those people that help people on and off the tenders. :rotfl2: In any case, it was one of those dreams that you wake up from wide awake - even if you've only had 4 hours sleep. I see a nap in my future today.

:lmao: Now that is funny. I thought I was the only with strange dreams about vacation.

I usually just dream that I forgot to pack anything!
:cloud9:

Our whole family are huggers except oldest DGS18. :confused3 He tries, but being touched is just not comfortable for him. Our yougest DGS7 seems to have inherited Grandpas knack for hugs. He too gives great ones!:grouphug:

I was raised in a family of non-huggers so it has been tough to break the cycle. Jennifer has been a good influence in that area. :grouphug:

So far....

PlutoJudy is allergic to Fragrance

BethC is allergic to chocolate

I'm allergic to cinnamon, even though I still eat it sometimes :rolleyes1

Other then that... I am not sure

I would be willing to create one of these for each room# as we get closer to the sail date

I did not create this just showing to give the idea of what I am talking about :)

Brack you HAVE a Lime Green tree... oooh do you have a picture?? :yay:

I thought I did but could not find one so I went to web site of the store that I bought it from. It's the one in the middle ....
