Just curious--in this pirate frenzy, and in general, is there a way to tell who's around, or how many, other than actual posts? A couple of other boards I frequent have a field at the top or bottom saying how many are logged on and who they are...

And speaking of coffee, dh better be here with my Timmy's soon. Of course he's been doing the super-daddy thing of taking ds to his first Beavers meeting, and dh's first meeting too, now as an assistant high rodent. (Of the beaver variety, not the mouse-ish...) I love my dh; he's a great dad.

There is a "Buddy List" that you have to put names into before you can see if they are online.

I understand! I have been known to DIS while riding on our road trips ..... when I have a signal on my Sprint card in WV.

Now I see, it's showing 30 minutes in the future, if it's time-stamping for Eastern time. Weird.

It's the DISBoard clock. It is often off from the correct time but I thought they had fixed the error.
