I saw that and wondered what was happening. I've just about fixed it though. It looks so small now.

Jennifer - it's only about 45 minutes down to DL for us, so we wouldn't really even have to spend the night. Though we've talked about driving down on a Friday to spend the night just so we can get in nice and early Saturday without having to wake up earlier for the drive. He'll eventually want to go. We've actually been right next door to DL a couple of times for other things, but never made it over there.

We won't be hitting WDW while we're there. It's all I could do to get to him agree to a whole week off. And, since we're west coast, he has to take off the Friday prior for the flight as well. But I've never really been as big on the parks. It's probably just because I haven't been in so long. I'm sure if I went again, I'd get hooked

I'll try to get DH to leave the laptop at home... but I don't see it happening. As long as he has the work cell phone (the bill goes directly to the company) and he can put the internet package on his expense report (they expect that kind of thing), I doubt he'll be out of touch with the office. But I might make him agree to only two 15 minute check-ins a day.

I have a company cell phone but it will be off except when in the US Virgin Islands. Then it will be used some to rub it in to people back home.

We were tempted to call our family and friends last time, but couldn't imagine what the phone bill would have been. Bill expenses his cellphone too. But, I don't think they'd go for calls made on vacation in the Caribbean unless they sent him there.

I'm mostly afraid of this "always connected" thing now that they offer the cell phone service at sea. Apparently some people have reported getting outrageous charges if there phone was even on due to digital background downloading. DH has a Blackberry and I have a Sidekick... both of which do the all access to web, email, etc. I think I'll be turning mine off and sticking it in the safe for the duration of the cruise just so I don't get charged when I get another one of those emails telling me how I can earn $6000 a week working just 45 minutes a day from home.

I had another really strange dream the other night about the cruise.

I dreamed that I was on an open-air bus with a bunch of people on the way to the port. And I guess the fact that so many of us are in gty cabins was in my head, because on this bus ride, there was a woman with a clipboard and a microphone announcing people's cabin numbers to them. They had all just been assigned and we were getting them on the way to the port.

Apparently, on the bus ride, I fell asleep for a few minutes and thought I had missed my cabin assignment, so I asked her if she could repeat it for me. And she told me that I would have to get mine at the port. She said I hadn't been assigned a cabin number yet because we get our television through cable instead of satellite.

So weird.
