I just tried looked at a full size car for mid-July with Avis, using my corporate code and came in around $199. With a coupon it may have come down a bit (free day coupon or something). You seem to be in the ballpark though.

We usually book a car pretty far out, but keep checking the prices right up to when we leave. Obviously during peak times there might not be any price drops, but you never know. This past November I found a cheaper rate ($30 less) with the same company (Alamo) we had already booked with about a week prior to our trip. Not much, but that's money better spent elsewhere!

I have a computer question...............(Ed or Nikki maybe???) I need to defragment my computer but I honestly can't remember how at the moment. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I'm on a Dell.

Thanks for the compliment in thinking I'm computer saavy, I am totally not, I'm so sorry. Now if my Dh was here he could probably help, he is IT for UPS, so anything I mess up he fixes for me or anyone else in his family. LOL. He goes with everyone to buy anything they need or want for the computer, and then has to install it. Poor guy, he has a huge family- it's at least once a month. Anyway I hope you can get it fixed.
