Yes, a nice evening. I watched Jon and Kate plus eight on TLC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone had a decent/good evening! We had a fun New Year's Eve. Went to the zoo, which the weather was perfect! It was cold but not freezing. We got to see some reindeer, and they actually came up to us. So sweet! Didn't really see many other animals. Saw Polar Express 4D, which was VERY fun. Actually sitting next to DS was the most fun. He was having a blast with it and watching his excitement was making me laugh! On our way to the hotel we got lost in Cincinnati though. NOT a town you want to get lost in. A 10 minute trip took over 45 minutes. Today the aquarium was awesome! We got there right when they opened and it was pretty empty. Got to pet some sharks. We did last month too but they were little ones. These were several feet long, much larger than last month. Saw Scuba Santa, the penguins, and a very cool octopus! I had been scuba diving in the Caymans years ago and saw lots of octopus but none this large. All in all it was a great time but we are tired. Not much sleep at the hotel. Lots of partyers down the hall.

It's approaching 9pm here and I'm awaiting the start of a 'whodunnit' TV show I particularly like. My glass of Sauvignon Blanc is full and I even have a couple of delicious DD's homemade chocolates (she's very talented..) to enjoy...

Bruce took the kids to Toy R Us they got a gift cards from Christmas so they went to spend them..................

Are they going after anything in particular? My kids kept bugging us to buy them Toys R Us gift cards.

Last night DD got to buy a penguin stuffed animal from the zoo she named Mango (very inventive name for a 5 year old to come up with I think!) and today DS bought a tiger shark named Dave. (funny considering my DH's name is Dave. But the aquarium named theirs Dave, so DS decided to stick with the name)

We had our indoor picnic and tried to take it easy, but them my DW computer lost its connection to the internet.

A few hours later, and uninstalling the firewall, and nic cards then reinstalling software it is now working again.

Gee and I thought I didnt have to go to work until tomorrow.

Some in our area closed a couple of years ago, as well as the Kids R Us. I used to buy the kids' clothes there. We have 2 Toys R Us left, and one Babies R Us. Around here I think competition with WalMart and Target is too great.

CONGRATS ABBY~~She booked with my TA and got a WONDERFUL onboard credit. Nikki/Steve transferred tooo...Congrats..Just think of all the extra OBC you both got.....

If anyone is interested in getting in touch with her about transferring I can send you her information..If we get enough together then we can get a group rate and the group ammenties..(Palo's Brunch, or a welcome cocktail reception.)

The OBC is great. We have a group together for my Oct. cruise and we all have gotten a GREAT rate and AWESOME OBC..~~~Just an FYI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
