Now I've caught up and made myself a cup of coffee, I can relax... Actually I can't as I'm on a mission to get to 6000 personal posts today!!! So better get busy with the posting... :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

It's a grey old day here 8 miles south of London town and there's a crazy wind a-blowing! :scared1: I can hear one of my side gates banging and several of the pots on the patio have blown over - yawn...

Morning Abby! Can I get you a coffee??

I see you're only 5 posts off the big 1K!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

But frugal!!! :goodvibes TBH last night my DH told me I was all talk and reminded me we only had 2 Konk Koolers on Castaway Cay and 2 Razztinis - the rest of the time we were sipping celebratory champers...

I don't think I've ever drunk so much champagne as I did on our cruise!!! We just kept finding bottles of Dom Perignon in our stateroom!! :thumbsup2 ;)

Never had Dom but we did have a bottle of the Fairy Tale Cuvee with our REAS package. It was very good and I intend on getting some again!

So you are that close to London?? LUCKY!! I went on a business trip there in March 2002 (6 months pregnant and sick at that) and it was rainy, freezing, gloomy, but I fell in love with the place. Actually I spent 2 days in London then 7 days in Nottingham. I was so sick and jetlagged I don't remember alot about the trip. I cannot wait to go back though! DH is yearning to take me to Germany, as he lived there for 2 years, so my return trip will probably happen when I'm too old to enjoy and remember it!

For my 1,000th post, have a good day everyone!! We finally got our accounts payable closed at work so now is time to reconcile everything. UGH. Can't wait to start that. :headache:

That's the lady!! :thumbsup2 Hoping to meet her in person later in the year as the UK DISgals are planning a pre-Christmas shopping trip to her home town of Cardiff...

Oh and phew! I'm not going mad!!! :woohoo:

Sue is such a sweetie, we got to spend quite a bit of time with Sue and Vicki in August 2005, we still keep in touch, via e-mail, snail mail and a phone call every now and then.

That's what we booked but were sprinkled with a little Disney pixiedust: coz it was our 25th wedding anniversary and received an upgrade... :cloud9:

Yes - my DH works in the City and he doesn't like a long commute (been there, done that) so we're pretty settled here. I can be up in town in around 20 minutes which is great for meeting friends/DH/DD... :thumbsup2

We lived in Paris for a couple of years - that's the city I fell in love with! :lovestruc We still have a tiny apartment there, so when DH can step back from work (maybe in 10 years or so if we're lucky) that's where we're going to move to... :goodvibes

Good morning everyone!

I got the quote back from Dreams and it was the same price as Disney's online website...very disappointing. I can book that myself and choose which room I want. Anyone know of any drawbacks to booking online?

Jennifer

Does anyone know how you find out your Castaway Club number if you've misplaced it? We moved to a new house last summer and who knows where it got packed or even thrown out. I don't see anything on their site that lets you look it up. Will it show up when I make my reservation?

Jennifer, there aren't any drawbacks of booking online - you're in control of the booking so it's all good. :thumbsup2

I believe TAs aren't allowed to discount DCL cruises anymore unless they make some sort of group booking. What you get from DU and the rest is onboard credit of varying amounts. Usually I book online with DCL and then transfer the booking to DU to get all the OBC going...

I use DU because they will advise me if/when certain preferred staterooms become available - it's easier than keep contacting DCL...

Email DCL using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the home page and select "Castaway Club Questions" in the subject options list. Ask for your CC details and they will get back to you with the number... :thumbsup2

Here's the link...
