I was just about to ask where everyone stayed before their last cruise. We were at POP Century, so just drove down on cruise day. This trip though, we are staying at a WDW resort all week until Friday morning, driving down to Radisson, or one of those close by- staying there Friday night, and shuttling to the port, so we can leave our car at the hotel. Unless I plan something else.

Stay at WDW then we can meet up on Friday.....

ANyone else going to stay at WDW???!!!!!!!!!

Last time was at the Raddision. We held a mini meet at Grills a Pre-Cruise Dinner friday night before.

That sounds great Ed.

We also had a meet at the Radisson that night at the pool,
It was great.

Much better than having to drive an hour the next morning from WDW,
You just wake up and your at the ship.
They start letting in at 10 am.

This trip though, we are staying at a WDW resort all week until Friday morning, driving down to Radisson, or one of those close by- staying there Friday night, and shuttling to the port, so we can leave our car at the hotel. Unless I plan something else.

Last time we stayed at the Hyatt because our flight got in so late. We didn't check into the hotel until around 11:30pm or so. This time though I would like to stay at the port if I can get that day off all day. Shouldn't be a problem. Dumb question, if you stay at the port the night before is it better to rent a car or hire a car service to transfer?

So does everyone fly in the night before? We did wdw last time before hand but not sure what we will do on this one.

i didnt fly, i drove. it took about a day and a half to get to wdw from Long Island, New York. i stayed at wdw the week before the cruise at the caribbean beach and then drove to the terminal. my family and i are doing the same thing again. i think we got to the terminal at about 10:30, 11:00.

I'd be afraid one day at WDW would be mean to do to my kids since they've never been there and there is so much to do. It;s like giving them an ice cream cone that they are only allowed to lick a couple of times.

We did 4 days before the cruise at WDW, drove over that friday, left wdw about 2:30.
