No School again today for DD due to snow and ice. Since this is the last snow day allowed in their quota any more days miss will have to be made them up in June.

I still need to try AKV, I don't like the AV park, Too big and dingy.

Do you know, it's always been our least popular park - Sophie and I didn't even bother visiting back in October! BUT when I went with Samuel in December, we made it our priority and had a fabulous time!!! Everest is now my absolute fave ride... I think it helped that it wasn''t too busy and we took our time...

OMG, Ed, that is so true!!! I can definitely vouch for that after the cruise and 2 lots of DDP last year!!!

yep, I didn't need any help from Disney, I was well on my way before the trips.

Its a free day, they are allocated so many a year before they have to make them up. I have lived here for 16yrs and they have never had to make up days. This has been a really weird winter so far....

Strange here too. We've had no proper winter weather here as yet BUT we're due for floods over the weekend!!!

It's more of a post-kids syndrome as, by then, I won't need a car suitable for ferrying DS and friends to/from school... And I've always liked fast cars just couldn't afford them in my youth...

I totaly understand, with Caitlin only being 10 right now, it will be a Looonnnng time before I can do that

June birthdays are very nice...

June is also our wedding anniversary, My wife's aunt's bday too, and my dw folks anniversary

Sadly other than us the rest had gone on to there resting place.
But those dates live on.

It was a rough night last night, our power went out at 11:56 pm.
Lights went out and then we heard a boom.


It was just our street, a transformer had blown

Ed, I had my first child at 19 so went from being a kid to having a baby of my own - I've been waiting a v-e-r-y long time... Not that I'm wishing my beautiful son's life away - it's all flashed by too quickly as it is...

I now what you mean, you want them to grow up, just not so fast.

It took us a long time, and with the help of modern medicine

Thanks, They all lived a full life so that was good.

Sadly, one of my Brother's, his wife was sick for a long time, she passed away, a week ago Thrusday.
