08/08/07 Well, Olbia Monkey's Uncle! We're cruisin' on the 10nt Med Cruise!

Hi - I want to thank everyone for all the fun they provided for me and my friends during our Med Cruise. Now that we are home and back at work we are still living on the memories. There were some challenges to the trip but overall I came back with great memories and would do it again. In fact, we are doing it again and signed up for the August western Mexico cruise next summer while on the cruise. We weren't initially going to do that cruise but after some consideration and the on ship board discount decided we wanted to try it. Is anyone else on this board (and still reading it) going to do this cruise next year? Also, has anyone heard what the ship may be doing in 2009? It was great to meet all of you.

MVAN - We are planning on booking for the May 20th Mexican cruise. We broke down and joined the DVC on the ship and plan on using those points for that cruise. I hope everyone had a good time. Me and wife had a wonderful time. If I had to say one thing I didn't enjoy, that would be by the adult pool, they only had comfy loungers with cushions in the smoking area. As my wife and I are not smokers that was kind of a bummer.

But couldn't complain about the entertainment, people, ports, and everything else. It was well worth the money.

James - I noticed that too. I wonder why they would have those nice upolstered seat cushions in the smoking area and not the other way around? Didn't really make sense to me either! I was wishing they had them on the other side as well a few days.

We rebooked an existing reservation for the 5 day double dip next September on the Magic just after the Panama Canal and just before dry dock. We saved about $400 and got $100 per stateroom shipboard credit. I am going through cruise withdrawal and am trying to figure out how to fit another one in sometime in January or February.

I too have withdrawl! Good thing I have my Alaska cruise to plan for next summer!

Hi - we had so much fun on the Med cruise, we signed up for the Aug 10th 2008 Mexican cruise. Wonder if any Med cruisers will be joining us? I also wanted to say thanks to all who participated in the gift exchange - what fun it was!
