We noticed the same thing! This will be our 3rd time celebrating our anniversary on a DCL cruise and it is lots of fun. Last time we were on board for our anniversary our serving team carried out the celebration for 3 days! We are looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time!

We are also on deck 2 celebrating our 20th Anniversary!!!

It's awesome! I loved browsing to see when / if characters would be out again, to see which time fit our schedule better. I also liked browsing the next nights menu so I didn't take so long to decide what I wanted. I tend to have to decide between a couple...and it helped to have more time to consider all my options! LOL!

Chocolate Souffle in PALO, self serve soft ice cream on Deck 11, Grand Marnier Souffle (well, for me, I could eat them every night). I've heard the soft pretzels are good when they have them (at Luigi's Pizza).

Pretzels were good! Had them for the 1st time inOct...they are very popular, and go fast!

A few words about you and your group: This is our first 7 night cruise and we can't wait! 4 nights are never enough. Castaway Cay is one of my favorite places in the world... unfortunately it downpours EVERY and ALL afternoon we've been there. So lucky you for traveling with us! Todd is a comic book artist and I work in advertising. Nate loves Lego, Minecraft and Star Wars. As Nate is an only child, we hope he finds a kindred spirit on this voyage to hang out with.

I think we may have decided to do a couple days at Universal after the cruise. Question; should we tell the kids (12,10) now and allow them to look forward to it now and during the cruise or do we surprise them with it after we get off the ship?

I think I would wait until after the cruise, so they aren't trying to compare the cruise to what they ANTICIPATE at Universal.....it will be a bonus!!!

Would be good to have playmates for playing with cars, video games, cards, checkers, othello, etc. Mom plans to workout early every morning (not intense, just get moving) and hopes for a yoga class or two (need to burn for dessert and adult beverage consumption!) Post cruise will be at WDW for a few days at the Art of Animation Resort. Lots of milestones this year in general- husband's sabbatical, youngest son starting Jr Kindergarten in Aug and 10 yr wedding anniversary in the fall.

Thanks, we did decide to hold off on telling them about Universal. We normally get the "only 2 days left" sob story so this will be a good way to help assuage those end of vacation blues. Got a room at the Royal Pacific so Express Pass will also be a big boost.

Re the pool: last year my kids were really looking forward to the pools on the Fantasy - after several elbows, knees and my daughter getting jumped on and pushed under they steered clear of it. Pretty sad but Disney really didn’t plan well wrt the pool situation. Too many kids and too many parents that simply don’t pay attention - its lord of the flies in there.
