I posted on the main board and got some suggestions on places to use for the bracelets so I will check into those options in the coming weeks. I think DIS lime green would be appropriate and should let us spot each other.

I think we can fit some wording on it for sure, but sounded like the less the better so the letters don’t run together due to spacing. I am all for something along the lines of
"DIS May 2009"
OR
"DIS May 9-16 2009"
Whatever else anyone cares to suggest and we can all agree upon.

Feel free to post your suggestions or send me a PM with them (less then 20 letters, spaces etc, I think is the rule for a bracelet) and I will post a voting option with all the phrases we come up with!

I thought Kristen (DisneyMommy1022) was working on this. If she isn't able to or doesn't want to, I'd be happy to do it since you appear to be taking charge of the bracelets.

If she is handling the FE list, I'd be happy to volunteer to organize any meets or anything else you need help with.

For those who wanted an explanation of how the FE works here you go:

Each Person or Family that decides to participate in the Exchange Buys or makes a FE and has them hung by their stateroom door. Then everyone gets or makes gifts or brings something special for each person participating in the exchange. You don’t have to give much; it isn’t to break the bank so to speak. But its something fun and its neat coming back to your room and having a gift or two waiting for you

I will make a list of who all is participating (Per family or Person) and then their stateroom Numbers and AGE and/or occasion of who all is traveling (in case you want to do something related for gifts) and Each person gets a gift for everyone (whatever you want). We can assign people to give their gifts on certain days if you want everyone to get a gift each day or if you like or it can be a free for all (meaning you can give them out whenever you want to during the cruise). But each person is supposed to get a gift to everyone that is participating.


Please let me know if you would like to be added to this list. I am going to set a cut off day of April 1st to be able to join the FE list that way the ones that do want to participate will have time to put together their gifts.

In regards to the bracelets I think it is an awesome idea and I would love to be apart of it. I will need 4 for our family. Just a thought but maybe we can come up this a group “name of some sort. The May 2nd group is calling them self the Magical MAYniacs. Maybe we could get like 3 or 4 ideals and take a vote. People could use this “name” on shirts or door decoration or even the bracelets. Also if someone wants to come up with a logo I think that would be fun to! Let me know what you think.

Hey All - I have found that I have pneumonia. Strange! Anyway - I had a quick FE quetion. When you say buy a gift for every person does that mean that you buy a gift for each child and the parents? Just wondering for those that don't have kids. And...that is fine! Just wondering so I can start picking things up that are age appropriate.

HELP - I am a little confused. We would also like the bracelets. Two please - one for Debi and one for Cal.

Hello all! Well we got all of our ressies the other night that we wanted! We got Palo for all 3 meals! I decided to book high tea for mothers day for me and my grandmother. She raised me so she is just like my mother. She is so excited! As for the bracelets I would love to do this as well! I am so excited about the FE. We did this on the DVC members cruise and it was a lot of fun. I think the best way to do it is to have people distribute them when they can, but I am open to anything. I am soooo ready to get on that boat!

Oh boy, the ships doctor is going to quarantine anyone with a green bracelet on when we arrive at port due to all this illness running amuck in our group. I think we will switch to the new invisible green bracelets to avoid being detained
