03/29/08, March 29, 2008 Eastern Magic - Who else?

Yes you can bring alcohol onto the boat, but there will be a corkage charge if you bring your own wine to dinner. However, unless you get a cabin with a new frig in place of the cooler, not too many of those, it is hard to keep beer suitably cold...trust me, I know.

Chuck:cool1:

Was someone drinking warm beer in November. ;)

No, but some of it went to waste...unless staff enjoyed what we left behind.

Here is the updated version of the Fish Extender List.

Hi all! Boy have I been busy  Mike just surprised me with a pre-cruise treat! Since we don't officially have to be in school on Friday, why not stay on-site Thurs/Fri & stir up a little pixie dust! Here's my question: Which resort would you suggest? We're looking at the moderates for price sake. Since we have a car and will be driving to PC, bus service doesn't matter. What we're looking for is Disney WOW factor I guess. It's been quite a long time since we've visited any of the resorts so we're out of the loop. Thanks for any info. Debby:wizard:

Sorry, I updated the list near the end of last week and I just realized it never made....I guess it is lost in cyberspace.

Anyone who is missing and wants their info added to the cruise list let me know. If there is info I need to update let me know as well.

Just wanted to tell everyone that I made an adjustment to the cruise list. I had a screen name on there that was not valid. So if you have printed them the one two posts up was edited and is not correct.

Chuck and Lisa,

We were in the car yesterday and Jessica says.

"Do you think Mason remembers me. I cannot remember what Mason looks like, but I want to remember."

It made me laugh so I had to share. Plus I need to bump us back up

Also, to Laurencam,

If you are in Hudson, I presume that you guys are flying into MSP? On Northwest?

There is a 1:15 flight and that is the one we are on (we took this one last year). NWA is part of the onboard checkin. If you purchase at least a one way transfer with DCL you can take advantage of this. Have a leisure breakfast debarkation morning. Stroll off the ship - without luggage - take Disney transportation to MCO - you'll have time for some shopping at the airport - also some nice restaurants and food courts before and after security line. It'll cost you $50, possible fair differrence to upgrade, but if you catch things during a sale, maybe all you'll pay is the change fee? You'll definately have more peace of mind.....

Finally, if you are interested, PM me your email - we can email you some Orient Beach pics and you can decide for yourself where to go (dont know how to send or post pics here in the DIS forums....)

o (dont know how to send or post pics here in the DIS forums....)

If you want to post pictures here. You need to go to a free site like www.photobucket.com Upload your picture there then copy the IMG link. Post the link into your post on the DISboards.

You may want to resize before you copy the link because sometimes the pictures are a bit large.

OK - cannot for the life of me, figure out how to send a PM. I have it all typed and hit send and it gives me an error, anyone else have this problem?

ps17 - thanks for the flight suggestions, we have talked to AA and to change our flight it will be $130 per person PLUS the change of fare per person. We are just going to keep it as is, and hope that we get off in time - they told they would just put us on stand by (4 other flights that day) IF we miss our flight. ALSO, tried to PM you my email, would LOVE to see the pictures, but got errors when trying to send it. Hopefully someone has some input as to what I am doing wrong.

Can anyone tell me real quick what the length and width of the fish extender typically is? I bought material the other day, and wanted to start on it (I am NOT a crafty person, so who knows how long this will take me - it will be interesting....)
thanks:flower3:
Dana

and - not packer fans - actually Bronco fans - husband was born in Denver!:)

Wow we've grown! I've been lurking and haven't had time to post due to the illness, & death of my beloved Aunt. DH and I are heading to Hawaii next week to attend her funeral and settle some affairs. We will be needing this cruise after all is said and done. I have picked up some things for the FE's and my cruise box is getting really full!
Here is our plans so far:
St Maarten - Private tour and shopping
St Thomas - on our own Coral world and Coki beach, sky ride to paradise point and have a bushwacker, meet w/ friends who live on St. Thomas for tea at Glady's Cafe before we leave.

DH and I are doing Palo's brunch on Sun.
Palo's tea on Thurs.
Palo's on Friday night 6pm so we can have dessert with our serving team later, but if I can change the ressie to Thurs. I will.

Thank you all for all the planning and organizing of this thread! You just gotta love the people of DIS board!

keep well.
Peace,
Kim

Laurencam,
I have directions for how to make an FE. They are in my computer at home. I will send them later today. I also will send the dimensions I made mine as I made it slightly shorter than the directions I have. I found the size I made worked perfect for our family.

Believes in Magic,
I am so sorry for your loss, but at least you will have a cruise to look forward to.

What a cute thing Jessica said! Are you all as excited as ME? Florida teachers - is FCAT over yet :rolleyes1
