I'm still here...
Would love to meet in the park..but this weekend is crazy busy for me...as I',m sure it is for everyone...getting ready for a visit from The Easter Bunny!!!lol

Miss hearing from everyone, kinda sad to see our thread getting futher and futher down the line

Our Photos are still on the card, infact yesterday I went to take pictures of the kids dying Easter Eggs...and no Photo Card ....Kaylee had it in the computer, checking out all the pictures

Still have one suitcase out!!!!! I got ALL the others put away rather quickly... so don't know what the deal is with that last one lol maybe I am just getting used to looking at it

I am off to a family baby shower this morning, along with about a zillion other things to do today, in preparation of getting ready for tomorrow. And then we have Emily's confirmation next Sunday...

Hope everyone one has a good weekend and a Happy Easter I will keep checking in wtih the boards...

Tink...I have a photo of you that I'm sure I could sell for big bucks..just have to find the right buyer... I'm almost positive I could get enough for it, to be able to pay for a ALL of US to go on a reuion cruise!!!! I have my people working on it as we speak!!!

I'm waiting for the 2010 dates to come out ---- I think that's when we'll wind up going ---- wondering if I can swing mid June instead of Feb.....who knows?

Hey BJ, was it you that placed my picture up on the billboard off of the interstate with my stateroom number, real name and birthdate along with my mothers Maidden Name.... I thought it was Mike all this time. I guess it was the right state, just the wrong direction. Just remember if you get any profit for your photos, you have to keep it, the next bar tab is on you....

I am right there with you. We still have one suitecase out.. I just put the others away tonight, looking for DS's belt. Left one there. Maybe in the back of my mind, I was hoping if I keep it pack, I am ready to jump on the next ship.

Michelle, BJ has to find a nickname for you. Believe it or not, one of my friends who was on this cruise with us has started to call me Stinky Tinky. I guess it is catchy.....

I am all for a reunion cruise. Believe it or not..... SHHHHHHH....... I have actually looked into another cruiseline and I am planning a Girl's Only Cruise for October 2008, 4 day Thurs- Sunday Western. Key West, Grand Caymon, Cozumel. Any takers, I will add you to my e-mail list.... I figured the guys can get the kids off to school for two days. It is fairly cheap or should I say compared to what we have spent, VERY CHEAP. PM me or e-mail me if you think you want details. I have NEVER gone away without my family. I tell them it is a "Checking out the compitition Cruise".

Hi everybody and Happy Easter~!

Thanks for all the good wishes. Everyone is on the mend. My mom is very stressed about my dad, who is doing great. My vacation bank is on empty--it's been a loooooooooooong two weeks!

Tomorrow, I'm finally back to school. With testing the last two weeks, it's been deadly for subs. Can't wait~!

Tink, I too have been looking at different cruise lines. Unfortunately, I won't know for a while what my work schedule will be like next year. Keeping my fingers crossed that DD's school has an elem opening. If not, I've been asked to do a maternity leave, but the teacher hasn't decided how many weeks she's taking. All those variables will impact my cruising...

I've never chatted, but am up for anything! Glad to see that people are still posting here.

Finally got the photos onto my computer--plus my dad's. I take a lot of portrait shots, so now I need to go through and rotate them, size them, etc. One of these years I'll have something ready to post!

OK, I'm back, she is just to excited, She just told me I could share with you that we have a reservation pending for the St. Croix cruise (2/28/08), We have until 3/21 to drop our reservation $ down on it, but it is on reservation. She has been itching at this since we got back.
Another sign that the season is changing, we got a letter from the pool company to schedule an opening of the pool.

What really happen is we all had to face reality and get back to our "normal" daliy lives but a beautiful sunrise or set is still there, you just have to look for it. Plus as Rani stated and cut our own meat !

Just wondering if anyone has heard what kind of response people have been getting when DCL got in touch with them after the cruise. I know alot of people were put on a calling list and handed cards from guest services to be contacted after the cruise. Has anyone here heard from DCL, or know of anyone who has?

Is anyone else going through serious cruise withdrawl? I can't stop thinking about the cruise and wanting to go back! It was our first DCL experience and even with all of the problems it was wonderful!

Hi Kathy-
Our group is very small that post here on a regular bases and none of us were the ones at Guest Services with complaints. So none of us would have been the ones who were handed cards. We had one of our "Family" there, but she was not complaining, only watching, keeping the kids away and oh, I forget, she was the video tapper. So we would not be the ones to ask. Did you give them your name and are awaiting a respond? I did write a nice letter to them, but I had some other major issues on the ship that needed to be addressed and I have yet to hear from them.

Hi everybody-

Can you believe it's Wednesday already?! Hope everyone is having a good week. I taught on Monday, which was great. Nothing else on the calendar until after Spring Break.

DH is traveling and DD's best friend in the whole world (who happens to live in OH) is visiting her grandparents this week. I'm letting DD play hooky tomorrow and she's sleeping over tonight. So, for the first time in 10+ years...I am home by myself tonight. I'm watching Top Chef and eating chocolate...hoping I fall asleep. At least my cat is keeping me company.

I called DVC earlier looking for a studio for a couple of days next week. It's DD's spring break, DH will be traveling, I've got a few points left in my June use year and we haven't been in a while. They only have 1BRs available. We don't need that much room and I don't want to use that many points, plus I would have to buy new passes--making my couple day run to WDW very expensive! So, maybe it's not meant to be. I'll probably call again tomorrow though... Anyone planning to be at WDW next week?

We are overrun with Spring Breakers this week in FL. Easy to spot them. While those of us who live here were wearing jeans and jackets at WalMart this morning, there were tons of families in shorts and flip-flops. Hope everyone's doing great! Anyone on Spring Break and doing something fun this week?

I've looked at all the photos. Fun reminiscing! You guys took pictures of everything--great photos! I can't believe that people thought to take food and signs. What a great idea. (Kim and Jen, thanks for setting up the sites to view them on.) My photos are mostly DD and my Dsis's boys.

Tink, your friend looks soooooooo familiar to me. Did he ever live in NY? I almost walked up to him and started quizzing him. Even Pat said to me, "Don't we know that guy?" He probably got a complex, we were always staring at him! Rani, thanks for encouraging more posts. Enjoy the rest of the week!

No, I didn't get a card. I was talking to a man by the pool who told me what was going on down in the lobby and I have just been curious about what kind of resonse people were getting from DCL. His whole theory was that DCL would "offer up" some sort of further compensation to people who complained a little more. Kind of "the squeeky wheel gets the grease" scenario.

I had read about Rani videotaping over on the other thread. I only read a small part of the thread -- it just got too long to keep up with -- but I felt really bad for you Rani seeing people jump on you for videotaping it.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the cruise. We had a fantastic time. I can't wait to go back, but no future trip booked at this time. I was just talking to the kids about it last night and they really want to go back. My son was negotiating with his sister about next year's magic show. My daughter got picked (but they both caught the dice at the same time) during Mike Super's show and my son is still talking about it! He wants a deal that next time he will get to go up instead of her!

Are we going to meet in the park this weekend? If so, Friday or Saturday? Since some of the Family has been MIA, we may need to call them. BJ, you have to bring the sweaters; just in case it is cool. Jen, bring the smores. Kim has to make sure all the kids are acting like Disney and not Nick kids. Mike bring th bull horn. Everyone else can just show up. I guess we should bring a couple of Bushwackers so that BJ can feel at home. Now come on Rani, you have to finally join us there too......

Oh shut up.............. I still have two small bags I have not unpacked.... Grant it, they may never get unpacked. It is pirate stuff and stuff I plan to use to scrapbook. Rani, you go girl.....

Do not count on the Lanyards, DCL changes their minds about this every so often. They give them then they pull them then they give them again. Maybe they will cut cost down by not giving them again and use that money for the engine.... We got them on this past cruise, but they had stopped giving them on our cruise prior to that. So you never know, just bring your own, we always do.

He has never lived in NY that I know of nor his wife knows of..... He is such a friendly guy though, you should have said something to him. He is always willing to have a conversation. He talks more than me, (shut up, smart mouth family do not even quote me).... Very friendly he is.... If you had of asked him, you would have then had a friend for life. Now he was in the Marines for years, but I do not think he was ever out east.

Rani, I'll admit my withdrawl guilty pleasure. Reading threads for upcoming cruises. I'm living vicariously through their excitement. Who am I kidding, I'm jealous!

What is this Park that Tink is talking about meeting in? I am thinking about going to WDW next week, but think I'm the only one close enough to just hop over there. Fill me in, please. I'm clueless.
