Enough with the talk about the missed CC for now... Let's relive some favorite moments. I'll start:
The absolute highlight Disney moment of our trip
Grace collected the doilies from our dinner table each night. When we went to Palo on Sunday for dinner I started pulling the doilies from everyone's soup. Our server Sasha looked at me a little strange, and I explained that they were for my daughter, blah, blah, blah. He said that he has three daughters of his own, and so he understood "these things". Later that evening when we arrived back to our room there was an envelope under our door filled with... Doilies and a nice note from Sasha. I thought that it was so nice for him to have gone out of his way for us. Grace was thrilled when she saw this. A few moments later Grace came to me with one of the doilies folded in half and asked me to help her make a invitation to a tea party for two new friends that she had made on board, and their family. It was so sweet, that I promised "Of course, we will have a tea part in the Promenade Lounge tomorrow at 10:30" After which I thought to myself what am I doing, I don't even know if the lounge is open at 10:30 tomorrow, or if there is something else scheduled there!
The next morning after breakfast I went to the lounge to check out if our plan would be okay. On the way I ran into Christian, who asked me what I was off to do. Why plan a tea party of course! I told him quickly what had happened, and went about my way. The bartender was very nice, and suggested that we bring our own refreshments, to avoid the bar charge. Back to the room, and ordered cookies and a pitcher of lemonade (okay so it was a lemonade party, not a tea party) from room service. When it was brought to the room I tipped the server extra to carry it up to the lounge. While I procured plates, tea cups and spoons from the bar staff Grace busily laid out her prized doilies as place settings for the tea cups and cookies and made place cards on each of the seats for her guests. Christian stopped by the lounge to see how are party planning was coming along. I asked Grace if she would like to invite Christian, to which she replied "I'm sorry there's not enough room".

(from the mouths of babes, right)
One of the kids that Grace had invited stopped by to say her mother was not going to be able to make the tea party. Grace turned to me and said "Christian can come now. There was a cancellation." To this he laughed and said he had a few things to check on (yeah, like a whole ship of other passengers!) and that he would be back. We finished setting up, cherries for lemonade garnish and all, when Grace's guests (DD, DGD, DGM, DSis, two new friends, and their father) arrived. Just as the drinks and cookies were served here comes Christian. In hands he has a "Princess at Sea" sash, and 10 Tinkerbell invitations with the following printed on the inside:
"You are cordially invited to attend a Tea Party hosted by Miss Grace.
Taking place this morning on this the 4th day of March, 2008 in Paomenade Lounge, deck 3 midship aboard the Disney Magic"
Christian even stood before the tea party and read the invitation like the town crier, in his most regal voice. He then passed out a copy of the invitation to each of the guests, adorned Grace with her sash, and sat down to join us for "tea".
Without prompting Grace held up her cup and said "I would like to thank all of you for coming to my tea party."
Later I heard her tell her Audrey "See what great things can happen when you throw a tea party!"
The number of crew members that went out of their way to make this very small thing so glamorous in my little girl's eyes is truely Disney Magic. They all deserve loads of
Now I want to hear some of your "best moment" stories!!!
