Still no shoe organizer, they are all canvas. My luggage comes with something so probably use that.

Hi Guys-
I go away for a couple of days and we have another new addition to the family. Just read through the thread..... Did not get her name though. Did I miss that. I am sorry I have left you, but I had to earn those dead presidents. Remember I have to PIF my shipboard bill before I go. DH does not like to place it all on plastic as we then never get to the bill and the added intrest drives him nuts If the ship is our family over head on disbarkment day, we want it to be because we over-slept, not because we did not pay our bill due to too many "drinks of the day". Hey Melissa and Brenda, remember you have to be my "stabilizer".

Actually, I have to fly now due to needing to shower. I am on call at the hospital and have to get dress (Yes it is 1PM), just in case I am called in. I was there last night til 1:30 and slept in til 11:30 this AM. Dead Guys on Green Paper is keeping me off the boards. If it is a quiet night and I do not get called in, this evening I will jump on if there are several of us on, we can chat.

Brenda- I see I am needed and Thank you. Now, I have given up on Mike's room and have just started to work on his "rotational sleeping" schedule. We are driving over to pick them up and will stow them away in the extra luggage space, I have.

I see I have 6 new PM's, so I will check those and then shower and then jump back to the boards. I then can post one of Mike's most desired type of post......

I don't know how many ships were in ports the same time we were (except for the one docked next to us at each port ) but do know that when we were in St. Thomas one of the store clerks did tell us that it was a busy port day!!!! So I'm thinking that it probably is not that unheard of to have that many ships ported at a time but 5 in the same day does seem like ALOT of people!!!!!! Maybe we should stay on the ship LOL!!!!!

Tink...welcome back, we did miss you, guess we should've known that you were working towards that much anticipated (or dreaded) shipboard bill!!!!!

Jennifer,how does the carpet look???? The carpet is usally the last to get done...does that mean your project is finished??? I'm sure you are busy putting everything back today...we missed you POD this morning

Rani,how did the chess tournament go today????

I think you and I may have came form the same mold.....are packing techniques are pretty similar..except for the plastic..never heard of that one before.
I do though, make a list of who is wearing what...and also, drive myself CRAZY by thinking that I need to put a couple of outfits for everyone in each suitcase..just incase of lost luggage, it does take a bit more planning and time...
Packing is not top on my list of FUN things to do
I have always said" I never know what I'm going to wear the day I wear it...not alone 7 days from now LOL"

When did grocery shopping get to be so expensive ??? I do not know how you guys afford to feed your familys, there is only three of us and it's crazy !

That busy day is DD's b-day so I don't know what to do, I wanted to do something real speical but ??? With that many people I better plan something because I was going to just do things as she asked. Not with 5 ships ! So I've got to thank you very much, you have probably saved DD from having a crazy not fun B-day.

Like I've told Mike I have an extra bed so I'm good to take one of his family members all seven days. Well just have to work it out when it's Adult time !

Love the Ideal of a chat but how do you get on, it's says "NO GUEST ALLOWED" and it will not allow me to log on with me DIS stuff ? Plus I do not have to work tomorrow so I'm good for late night too.

Go the UPS # our TV bulb is due to arrive Monday. So we have had no TV for 5 days ( DD had watch a lttle in playroom ). So now we have to go to a Super Bowl party if we want to watch the Giants beat the Pats. Why do the show it at 6pm on Sunday when everyone has to work the next day, why not on Saturday ??

So here it is -- my DS - 9 -- who just started instructional chess three months ago.... went to his first tournament and was paired with kids with higher ratings (how many games you've won, but remember my DS just started three months ago), who'd been at tournaments before, and who'd all been playing from one to three years -- and won every game for a perfect score and first place!!!! It was so exciting!!! He got a huge trophy!

I am so not a braggart -- but this is so awesome and I'm so happy for him and you all can't see me jumping up and down and going crazy -- cuz this is just such a nice thing for him!

So - in short - the answer to the your question is

I started my packing list today. I tried on clothes Thursday and yes BJ, I needed your Pixie Dust, so thank you. They did all fit, just not the way I wanted them to look. Maybe I have to hit the treadmill in between the hospital.

I have a couple of things to sew, so I have to pop off for a few minutes and do that. I then will get back on. I have not tried the chat, so I do not know if it works for me. I will try and post my results. Later Gators......

No - please play him -- he'll be thrilled!!!

Craig and I play chess -- just like we play checkers or battleship or mastermind -- just another game. DS plays it like a religion. If it's not school work, soccer or chess -- we wouldn't know where to find him.

Thank you all for the well wishes for him -- we're pretty stoked!

As far as pre-ship weightloss -- I knew it would never happen if I wanted it (she says as she bites into a gooey bite of the filling of a Boston Creme donut) -- but I've kept up my cardio and added a little weight so my arms don't act as a parachute....

I started putting the clothes to pack for Craig in their own part of the closet so I can just take that chunk out and pack it up....

it's getting really, really close!

I only eat Kosher meat so I scoured all the menus I could find online. There is an awesome non-meat meal on every dinner menu I found. Craig even asked me if I told them I only eat Kosher meat and I said, "no -- I'm just going veggie on this cruise because the food looks amazing and I don't want to get stuck with saran-wrapped Wilton airline food." So I think if you eat salmon or mahi mahi things will be fine. See, I don't even have any knowledge of cruises or Disney service or Lent for that matter --- but I've learned soooo much from all all of you!

By the way -- did anyone notice that it's 27 days till the cruise?

Rani, DCL does do Kosher if you send in a medical request form. It is one of the options on the bottom of the form. I heard they are very very strick with it as well. I think you should send in the form and let them know, so they have enough on the ship so that it is still an option for you. I heard that it is truly preped and cooked 100% the correct way. I heard that they even addressed it in the Gallary tour that they had a seperate station just for it so that it does not get cross contaminated with the other foods. I was going to ask you that, but somehow forgot. Sorry....... If you want, down-load a form and send it in for more options.

BJ, Did you get your studd, I mean "STUFF" together after the movie. We now really know what goes on in your house after movie night. I guess Mike and Mad Wife can not rotate in the BJ/RJ room. Everyone, I will bring some motion tablets just in case we have unexplained, "Rocky Seas".

I tell you, we need to have the DHs sit and chat, all of the "stuff" they tell helps us get to know you a lot better.

Yes, I am excited the entire ship is dressing up in honor of my 25th Birthday. I am happy you guys got everyone in on it including Mickey and Minnie. Thanks, I feel so ed.

I can tell you one thing, I must have been sleeping about the 9AM idea. The Tinkerbell Family never wakes up until 9AM. We usually close both clubs..... We will have to make that a different time. Maybe that first night after later dinner if you guys are not too tired. Remember Jen and Brenda are camping out with the smores the night before at port. Jen Pack the tent yet?
