Sure you don't want to pack the parrot to go with the really authentic, elaborate pirate costume that my husband said you were wearing for the Piarate party? Cause I know I better not be the only female dressed like a serving wench/pirate at this thing.

Okay Mike, what am I suppose to say? Do you want me to tell DW, that yes I am dressing up or should I tell her if she dresses up, she will make me look bad at dinner? Last cruise, one of my friends dressed up, but we did not and we were okay with it. I have it, I can always say I can not dress up because I am not allowed to bring the bird through Customs.

Saturday: Embarkation Buffet
Sunday: Italian
Monday: Asian
Tuesday: Mexican (Eastern), American (Western)
Wednesday: American (Eastern), Mexican (Western)
Thursday: Seafood
Friday: Cookies on Castaway Cay

This isn't our first Disney cruise, and I guess I never relized that they served themed lunch bufftets everyday...
I did however know that they served lunch buffets everyday.

We usually grab lunch at the pool. Except for Saturday, we eat at Parrot Cay

I know you've all been staying up nights worrying about DS's missing Pirate outfit....pacing the floors, searching your OWN homes, searching the local dumps......I know, I know -- it's all consuming! But it's oK -- I appreciate all your concern and efforts -- I really do!

Today I happened to walk into the local Disney Store and they had the 40% off clearance...and the manager who knows me by now..by first name....said they're manually taking off an additional 15%...so I shopped. I didn't find anything I really needed (my mom found plenty for my kids) but I asked the manager if they had any more pirate costumes left (she knows the whole story.) She checked in the back and they had ONE LEFT in my DS's size! It was on clearance for $14.99 and an additional 15% off = total $13.xx! Yea -- of course, it will take a whole suitcase to carry it because it's so heavy!

There was no wig or bandanna, but we have a long black wig and he'll get a bandanna on the ship -- so we're good to go!

Just got back from Madison's school, she a cheerleader for their JV basketball teams. Both teams won !

Guess what my boss tried to pull, he said I did not have any vacation time to left over to take for our cruise !

I get my yearly allottment on 3/19 but as you guys know we leave before that. Well he approved it forever ago so I thought he'd advance me. NOPE !!

I told him well that sucks because I'm going and I can NOT cancel. Who's the mean one in our group ( do we have one ?) I need them to come straighten my boss out.

DS says he wants REAL boots, the pants from the lost costume, the jacket from the new costume and the wig from the last costume....uuhhhhh - where - is - the - lost - costume? Major issue here.....

Other than that -- I've started pulling things from the closet little by little that they all won't miss over the next month so I don't have as much scrambling to do.....

Rani- This is a picture of our room last cruise. We were in your cat. so if you want to get an idea of the size of the room, it is an idea from the picture. The only difference is we had connect rooms. So, the white door you see were to a room next door exactly the same as our cat. 4. Yours will just be a wall.

Well took Hubby with me ( needed that man opinion ) and I got a dress ( plus got it for $23 from $80 ). Plus two nice shirts. Now I need new shoes !!

I called Disney last night and all they had left was room for two people in two separate cabins, could change but I do not think so. Looks like we have a full ship, I'm glad I have our room and car booked. Anyone needed to stay can bring their tent. I'd bring mine but I'm already getting dirty looks from Hubby and I haven't even started to pack yet!!!!

Quick Question: The little ones wear costumes to the Character Brunch - yes?

Also: note to any first timers (or vets who know what I'm talking about) -anyone having occassional freak-outs about the kids and the ocean and falling or going over? I was awoken by one of these dreams this morning....totally just a first time cruiser thing -- right?

I'm probably just being neurotic about this......

Good "Dayz" Rani -
First about the character breakfast. It is totally cruise casual. Most of the kids wear shorts to it. There are actually pictures on my house party site of the character breakfast. So, one less thing to pack..... I am off work today, I promise I will get out your next e-mail today.

About pre-cruise dreams. We actually all have them Now ours are just a little different. I have them, that I got to port and forgot our documents. That I forgot our passports, that our forgot our transfer tickets. That I forgot money. That we over slept and missed the ship..... Now, first cruise I think I did have the ocean dream...... Now that I have been several times, this one is not so true. The chance of that happening is slim to none. It would take someone literally picking the kid up to trhow them overboard or the ultimate drunk person that tries to do the Titanic Rose scene where she climbs over the rail. The rails are very high, above my breastline and we are tall people. A great thing that DCL does is make the rails clear plexie glass so that you can see out and the small kids can without climbing. So now that nightmare is resolved, you can have this one. "You get all the way to Florida to realize you forgot to pack shoes and underwear. ".

I have to go and read the threads from the past two days and catch up now. I posted two, but had not read them. Talk with you guys soon.

Michelle...can you fill me in on the breakfast dinning??? Are we to go to a certain restraunt w/ our regular servers in the morning?
We have always just grabbed breakfast at topsiders buffet...

I do realize that the day & time of our character breakfast is listed seperately on our dinning rotation card....do we have our same servers for that morning as well???
We have never done the character breakfast before, but think that we will try to do it this time...hopefully it won't be the same morning that Ron and I are planning brunch at Palo's...

Hey Lady Brenda-
We have not spoken in a couple of days. I have been trying to earn extra Disney Dollars. The only thing is, I have to crank in the hours to get the Disney Dollars I need, because they do not have Mickey on them, they have some dead guys- one with some guy named Grant and the other with some Benjamin guy. I was told by DH, with the bill I rack up on board, I only could come home with those two types of bills. Went shopping over lunch the other day. (SHHHHHHHHH).......

The character breakfast is asigned to you and those tickets are in your room if you remeber correctly. First breakfast is like 8AM and second is like 9:15 if I remember correctly. They take them per rotation and that is how you are assigned, so you eat with the normal people in your dining room and with your regular dinner servers at your same table. It is in PC and it is really cute. Now I hear it is now (last 6 months) more like a show than character interaction. They use to do a small show and then mingled at the tables, but I now hear that people in 1st breakfast were complaining because all of the characters did not get to their tables, (ie; Mickey and Minnie), so they now do a longer show and a few photo ops. Regardless, my kids love it and we will for sure go..... I have a couple of pictures on my houseparty site of it. I will try to download more so that you can see them.

Even if it is the same day as your Brunch, do not worry because it is before brunch times. So even if it is, just eat a little fruit and muffin and then head up to Palos a couple of hours later. The breakfast is not all that to die for at the CB, it is just the atmosphere that is fun. I like it better than the Pirate Dinner.

Everyday they have a restraunt that is the restaurant of the morning. They rotate between the three. It is alacart and you go and just order off the menu during the open hours. You get whatever dining servers are on that rotation that day. We always grab breakfast the morning at Topsiders too as we do not like to wait for the food to cook and there is more selection. The only time we go to sit down breakfast is for the CB and the morning of DisEmbarkment.

Well it snowed here so that means the world has STOPPED !
Now we'll get the lovely ice and it will take me FOREVER to get to work tomorrow. I know you North/ Northwest peoples get this white stuff a lot but for us Southerns it just screws up all my plans.

I need to go shopping and I do not like to get my feet wet. It does not snow ( or even rain ) that much I never bothered with boots. I'm done complaining now.


I haven't had a single dream about the cruise, I did have a bad one about Vampires ( they scare the **** out of me). I think my brain takes a break when I sleep because I'm always thinking about it when I'm awake.
