03/01/2008 Eastern!!

Mike,

My ****** always grow when I'm gain weight, they are the first to grow and the first to go if I lose weight. I've been working so much and stressing about James lack of emploment I've not been eating healthy or even eating !! Yes, if I don't eat I gain weight, body goes into starve mode and stores.

Good side, give me a good push up bra and I can finally fit in with the women at the Renissance Fair !:rotfl: :rotfl:

Ladies, we now know what kind of man Mike is.;)

James has a Tux due to Old boss always had black tie christmas parties but he claims it won't fit, has he tried, NO. He said we could just skip formal night and even semi-formal !:scared1:

First of all I want a nice picture but the most important is Madison, she is taken this formal night really serious. She wanted to get a ball gown but we agreed on a really sparkley (word?) dress. Her hair is very long so it's going to be fun fixing it up. I'll probaly do pin curls.

Tink,

Thank you for the emails, WOW !!!
You could make a Disney pamplet or even a guide book.

Brenda,

We missed you but we did have Ron, so thank you for the fill-in.;)
I asked James if he wanted to post and he kindly thank me but said NO. He thinks I'm a complete Disney nut, he with me to enjoy the aftereffects of all my planning. I don't care as long as he goes along I'm happy too !!

I'll be checking for more post see you later !

Michelle

I can't belive I forgot to post this !! James' company got their contract so he should be getting a call to come back very soon !!

Michelle

Feiste and Tink,
Kailyn's lack of computer time are a combination of too much homework (it's schoolwork that became homework because of a less than stellar effort to complete during school hours), the novelty of e-mail starting to wear off for her, and Daddy monopolizing the computer to waste time on the DIS.
I fully understand. The girls got a Wii for Christmas. There are times when all four of us are arguing "MY TURN!"

Feiste,
For the door sign(s), what I need depends in part on what you want. Do you want me to decide most things and just shoot you something, or do you want to give guidance? Do you want a single family sign or signs for each member of the family? What information do you want; just first names or family name, or also cruise dates, room numbers (which is risky, because you could get upgraded), etc.? I already have your names, but I would suggest at a minimum letting me know favorite Disney characters or movies for each of you, and perhaps some photos (I know your website proclaims to contain your best family photos, but I didn't know if you had some others, perhaps even Disney photos). I think you have my e-mail address already, but if not, let me know. I'll try to get something to you in time for you to look at and comment back for changes. I'll just bring the finished sign(s) with me and give it/them to you on the ship.
Okay, I'll pull together some information and send it in a couple days. I have no idea what my favorite Disney movie is! Off the top of my head I would say the original Parent Trap, but I will find something more cruise worthy. I think we will stick with just the family name, and no room number JIK the upgrade:wizard: comes along.

Thanks again for your help!!!

the way, how can you say that you are talentless, your website is awesome? (and I thought Macs were for the creative types)

AHHH... the secret of the Mac is that it makes it so easy that you look good even without much talent!:lmao: :lmao: Seriously, though most of the work done on the web page was done by DH. I have done my fair share of sappy videos, but my style would tend to be more toward the humorous. If you look at the "Short People" video or the "Dylan, and Monsters, Inc." videos found here:

http://www.czachorski.com/home/Family_Stuff.html

You will see my style. Thank you, however for your kind words about the website.

Feiste,
If you really do start planning a trip to WDW, and you are not a regular, let me know and I'll try to return the favor of giving advice. While we do not go as often as some, we have made six trips to WDW since 1994. We love (okay, I love and DW tolerates) giving advice and helping people plan for WDW trips.

- Mike
Thank You for the offer, I probably will take you up on that. We are planning to figure out when value season is and then just book one of those one week specials that you see advertised for around $1600. We could absolutely use a lot of advising though!

I just came across this on the "Gift to Crew Member" thread..so a lot of you may have already seen this...but for those of you who haven't, I will post the web address.. http://cruisetip.tpkeller.com/

It is a link to what is called the " Cruise Tip Calculator" it will show you what the suggested tip to each Staff member is, according to how many of you are sailing..
Goes to show, you can find most ANYTHING on the web!!!!:surfweb:

And OH...by the way, Happy Saturday to ALL!!!!

Mike: I think you and my husband will get along -- he is also too "unconcerned" shall we say, to shell out for a tux. He will be wearing the one suit he owns (that I forced him to get for Bar Mitzvahs, weddings and funerals....and cruises) on formal night. On semi- the boys will be wearing dress pants, button downs and ties....

Ladies: As for my for Formal night -- I have my famous $20 outfit that I wear for weddings, etc......flowy black gauzy pants and a sparkly sleeveless top....shoes are the issue...comfort in the shoes is an issue.....

Semi formal night for me will be a nice pair of pants and another sleeveless top -- see taking all sleeveless cuts down on suitcase room that the sleeves would take!

Rani

Comfort in the shoes is the main reason that I change clothes between dinner and the shows!

Micday,

Ouch. The ****** thing had to do with the stress of the job situation. Smooth. Very, very smooth. What an idiot I am. I knew danger lay that way, but I hadn't anticipated that. Sorry.

- Mike

P.S. Hoping along with all the others that your husband gets that call (insert smiley with fingers crossed here).

Rani,

I wouldn't say necessarily say that I am "unconcerned"... oh, wait, I just looked it up in the dictionary... unconcerned is almost exactly what I am.

Feiste,
1. It's true that a Mac makes creativity look easy... you just need to make sure to check the math! (I did mention that I am an engineer, didn't I? I am absolutely that geeky PC guy on the Mac v. PC commercials)

2. If you have Word, I can send you coies of our door signs so you can see how well (or poorly) I can do.

3. Comfort in the shoes is one of the main reasons I like being a guy.

4. For WDW planning, it's not like I can give anything you can't glean from the DIS, but I could save you a lot of time searching.

- Mike

Mike,

Please don't take it as I was upset about what you said earlier, it made me laugh. I'm trying to do door signs but I might call you in for some help !

Feiste and Mike,

I also can help with Disney for anyone too. I was born and raisied in Florida. We went to Disney at least once a year growing up. Until I went to college here in NC, I went like twice if that. Then I took hubby once (before Madison). Once Madison was born we've been I think 10 times (she's only eight). I LOVE going to Disney with kids, it's the best !

Have I even been to Disneyland, NO !!!!!! 0: ):

Everyone,

I love tennis shoes because I have to wear special inserts, high arch feet plus standing on them all day= pain. I just bought a cute pair of sandels I'm not suppose to wear but I'll baby my feet. How is a women suppose to go on a cruise with tennies only ??

Oh, my time is up I've got to get back to cleaning. We've only lived in this house for two years, WHERE did all this stuff come from !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michelle

Thanks guys for the wishes and stuff about James' job !!!!!! I hope to reply real soon to the effect of two employed people !

I grew up in WA State and frequented DisneyLand -- I used to love the Submarine Ride.....I think I liked DLand better than DWorld -- maybe it was because it didn't involve strollers or diapers or people asking me to buy things --- it was me spending my folks' money!

As for shoes, one pair dress shoes (sandals), I pair crocs (still searching for the ones I want at the price I want) and one pair flip flops....what I am going to wear to and from the airport is still a mystery.....

Good Morning !!

I've been checking our cruise everyday for a friend of ours. They want to go BUT only if they get the Florida rate. It does not look like they will be sailing with us. It looks like only Cat 8's are left and they are GYT. Madiosn will be sad because this is her best friends family but I've made sure she realizes that. She is just so excited to go plus she's been talking to tink's son.

Tink,

I think I'm going to have the same problem as Rani and call you Tink not Michelle.

I cleaned ALL DAY yesterday and I'm proud to say you can walk in our walk-in closet now !

Well I'll check in later, I'm hungry. Bye......

Michelle

Okay- I have to try to play catch up here. Let me try to address each that I can remember.......

Jen-
DS loves the clubs. He would spend all day there if he is allowed. So him anad Audrey will be in good company of each other. We do make him do the show and Dinner with us though. We usually pick the kids up at dinner time in the clubs to get dress for the show and dinner. After that it is usually late, but they want to go back to the clubs and DH and I do the time together thing. PARTY TIME.....:cool1:

Clothes, Shoes & Laundry-
I do not remember who asked, but we pack for the entire week. We do a casual outfit a day. A couple of swim suites. A dinner outfit everynight. Two pairs of PJs each. Shoes: we each have a dress pair, a beach pair, a pair of sandels, slippers and we wear our tennis shoes.:laundy: Laundry, I try to do it once at least on the ship, about midweek. I also try to do it on port days when it is not so crowded. I do it and pack it. I just do not like to take so many dirty clothes home, not because we wear them again. Now this cruise, I have decided on to take three pair of dress pants as he is older now and should not get them dirty in a few hours.

Door Signs-
I am so happy you are doing the Mickey Heads for everyone. I did venture to Home Depot and had no idea where to look. Which department. I asked and the boy was clueless. I do not like that kind of store. I can stay in Michael's and JoAnns for hours though.;)

Mike- I have been holding off on your offer for door signs as I have a DISer whom promised to do them for me along with printing, laminating and putting the magnetic strip on the back in turn for doing her a pillowcase. Let me try to e-mail her to see if she is going to get them done. Thanks for the offer.

Everyone-
Would you PM me with your kids NAMES and AGES?????? (I can not tell you why right now). I just need to get an official count for a reason... To see if something is doable.

Melissa-
I guess MAD husband wants me to say, we are dressing as pirates. Yes I got this really elaborant outfit for the night because I want to be part of the character feel.:sad2: :ssst: :bitelip: (NOTTTTTTT..........)

Everyone-
I hope I addressed everything. I have been off for a little over a day as I had some bug last night my body is riding. It happens when I start to do crazy hours before every trip so that I crank in the hours. You know I fork out a lot of money to Shutters......:scared1: Plus trying to finally get my Houseparty DCL site going.

Michelle, Rani-
I like Tink and will answer to it anytime. it... Will make for less confusion too.

Okay Guys-
I actually set up DS a DIS account and this is it. I want to see how it turns out with a post to see what I need to edit. I figured they then can PM each other back and fourth when we get back.. I will keep him off the meets thread so that the kids suprises are not seen. I do know how to keep a secret. All of his computer time, we are present. I try not to read his e-mails from the kids, but we will moint. all here like any other site.

What up peeps? You all are crazy! I have had to catch up!

Mike - send me an email at nshabarekh@snet.net and I'll send you the list (and add you to my distribution list).

Michelle - I think my list has the ages of the children and most of the names for you.

Booking onboard has allowed us to sail quite a few times since 2000. We never take DCL's airfare so getting the 10% off with the stateroom credit has been great. We also transfer our booking to AAA and have received a match most years, as well as free airport parking vouchers.

As far as formal night goes - don't over do it - you'll make my family look bad. :rolleyes1 I usually either bring a nice dress or a pant & blouse while Norm and Josh wear dress slacks, dress shirt and tie with a jacket. We eat, get pictures, enjoy captain's complimentary drink and then dash back to change! It can be a very fun night and it's really great looking at everyone dressed up. The pictures make great keepsakes (remember you can use YOUR camera though).

I don't like bringing too much so I bring my quarters and my travel-size Tide. I enjoy popping wash in before getting ready for dinner...popping it in the dryer before dinner and running it back to the cabin before dessert. The facilites are great. When we sailed RC in 10/2007 it killed me to send out for laundry (socks and undies!). I'm so cheap/frugal! Since you can slip on the same shorts over your bathing suit and sleep in the same we re-use often. Just for the record -- I'm not going to tell anyone if you reuse a shirt two days in a row - I'm on vacation!

46 days and counting. If anyone needs a copy of the list - email me (above). The more details we capture - the more fun it is when we hook up onboard.

Later kids!

Kim

Hi guys !!

Just finished going through Madison's clothes, she DOES NOT need clothes for the cruise !

I found my pirate tattoo's so I've got those covered for everyone ! Everyone that wants some that is.

I've already filled two boxes that's not even our clothes and shoes !! Would you guys mind if we wore the same clothes ALL week ??

Me and Madison's new shoes showed up, yep, you guessed right , hers do not fit ! Her crocs fit and that's all she cared about ! I swear that child would wear crocs only if I let her.

I've got to go, Madison is calling. I'll check in later tonight if I get time.

Bye..............

Michelle

OMGoodness-
Now Kim the lister has awaken too. Brenda, we now have to call off the dogs for her. Where is the other Kim? :confused3

OK,
James does not want to lug his Tux all the way to Florida. I know he can rent one, how is it to rent ?

Ron, I saw you post that you rent. How many guys are renting vs just wearing dress (shirt, pants w/ tie and jacket) ?

Michelle

Hi, This is Ron, we just got back from the hockey game in Colorado. The main reason I rent a tux is because I don't want to pack my suit. Plus I look so darn good it it:thumbsup2 I hate dressing up as much as anyone. I'm a farmer. To me formal means taking my pliers off my belt and wearing a new cap from the fertilizer Coop:rotfl2: I don't know what the rent is yet. Brenda will look it up and post. By the way the sig pic below is from semi formal night last year.
