Hey! This is my first time joining the DISboards as well as my first Disney Cruise AND I will be running the Princess 1/2 Marathon as my first 1/2 marathon too! I need lots of help getting myself organized for both the race and the cruise and also my family wants to join in the FE group as well!! There will be 9 of us travelling including my 2yo daughter as well as my 2yo niece and 5yo nephew! Any suggestions on things to do and how to get involved on the cruise would be very helpful!

My DD was 2.5 when we first cruised with her and our group is getting bigger as well. My BIL is now talking about joining us. I'm sure you and your family will have a great time.

Just booked my wife an I on the Dream Cruise on 2/23/13. It will be our 2nd Disney Cruise! Our first was 4/25/12 on the Magic. We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach resort the night before the cruise. Can't wait to see this ship and ride the Aquaduck! Booked cabin 8662.

I have been worried about finishing the PHM then making it back to our resort in time to catch the bus to Port Canaveral. What kind of pace are the runners running at? I'm roughly a 10.4 min/mile. I'm working on getting that time down because I'm scared of missing the bus.

Hi everyone. My DW and I will be joining you all on this cruise. This will be our second, first was our honeymoon on the Magic in 2012. We have a full crew coming with us this time. My wife's parents, sister and brother-in-law and their 2 boys, one 3 and one will be about 5 months when we leave. This will be the first cruise for all of them. We are very excited to see the Dream.

No worries! The race starts at 5 am and Disney allows a 16 min pace. Everyone off the course by 08:30. The bus departs around 11:00 am -12 noon for the Port. With your pace you should be off the course by 7:15am. http://www.rundisney.com/princess-half-marathon/

Wedge.... Thanks for the input. My wife and I have been very concerned about me missing the bus. We haven't been able to find anything on bus departures and with this being our first cruise not exactly sure how to prepare and what to expect with how it all works. I wanted to see my running progress since my first half marathon poor timing on my part but I wanted to challenge myself.

someone else was originally making the list, and then she had to cancel her cruise. I've sort of got it in post one as people submit their info, but haven't cleaned it up yet.

I'll try to get to it next week….but if you look you can see who wants to do the FE.

Ok...my brain works better in excel, so I took the list and made a spreadsheet.

let me know if anyone has any trouble viewing or if the info isn't correct.

Also, I put in a column for family name. I can personalize the FE gift I'm making if you give me your family name. Not required though.

Went with 12:30 PAT. The van is going to pick us up at 11:30. That gives me time to finish the race, get cleaned up and get to port without too much time before the rooms are ready.

I hate taking my carryon all over the ship while I wait for my room.

Hey! Just wondering how you were able to check in? I thought we could not check in until Dec 10th? Did I miss something? This is our first Disney cruise so I am still figuring things out Cant believe we are just a couple of months away
