“Kona Low” and incoming rain

We are headed to Oahu this coming Saturday. A “Kona Low” is forecasted to bring heavy rains, windy storms, and possible flash floods this week. I am hopeful that the worst of it will be over by the time we arrive. But, please, do tell me your best tips for enjoying Oahu in the rain? We will be in Waikiki for three nights and at Aulani for four.
