I was able to book 10/10. My Disney scheduling second job is now over and I can relax.

For the first time in a few weeks I worked at Epcot tonight and I told them "RELEASE THOSE DATES............NOW", and they did. Ya, right, I should have so much clout. Anyway the long ordeal is over, book away, tomorrow maybe.

So can we end the rumor about the party ending because Illuminations is ending and that the party is ending because it's not popular?

LOL! In hindsight, maybe this is some brilliant marketing ploy by Disney to get us all wanting the party even more. I've certainly told others that I'm waiting for this wonderful, exclusive party to help complete my holiday plans. Or maybe this is just Disney operating on the slow side for getting their plans together. Either way, FastPasser thank you for all of your insight and for keeping us calm during the many weeks of debate. I am so happy to have this party booked! Now if only the Jingle Bell Jingle BAM dessert party would be released Oh well, one thing at a time!

Hard to believe my date I needed is already sold out. I can book for 1 person, but I need 2. Every other day of my trip is bookable so I know it's open. How does it book that fast?????

Edited to add- This has to be a glitch. I can book for any number of people on 10/12....except 2, the number I need. Ugh....

OMG, it really is a second job! Especially when staying off property and getting up early on consecutive mornings to book dining and then fast passes. Or even getting up one morning and spending like an hour getting the entire trip booked at once. And it can be really stressful since the fate of the rest of the group's vacation depends on my ability to get stuff booked. I'm so glad there are others out there that understand. Congrats on booking 10/10 and have a magical trip!

Keep trying. I booked for 1 person and then went back and booked a 2nd 1 person. So now my Mom and I have separate reservations instead of a party of 2. Give it a try. Or keep refreshing. I tried that on a different day and went from no availability to a party of 2. Good luck!

I'm considering booking for 3, then canceling 1 but not completely sure I can actually do that. lol Can you drop 1 person off and keep the rest of the reservation?

Had a heck of a time booking it, but got it for 9/10 for 2. System is glitchy right now so keep trying if you are having trouble. I was trying on my phone on the website, through the app, and on a laptop. Kept saying no tables. Finally got the time button to pop up and wouldn't let me just click on it. Tried what another poster said and right clicked, then chose "open link in new window" and boom, it worked. Good luck everyone!

Just tried here in the UK and some dates show no tables available whilst others show a time match but no opportunity to book so looks like it's getting there!

I'm not sure about that either. I briefly considered doing that, but instead of clicking on it to book for 3, I did another search for 2. Then when I tried 3 again it wasn't available. I'm thinking it was glitchy and not full. Eventually, I just kept refreshing and searching and got my party of 2. I don't see why you couldn't cancel 1 person. I'm thinking you'd have to call and modify over the phone. Or the CM on the phone could cancel the Ressie for 3 and rebook it as a Ressie for 2? Anyone out there had any experience? I'm thinking people must book for a larger group and have people decide not to make the trip. Good luck!

Thank you!! Just did the same as you and right clicked on the time and selected "open up in a new window" and voila there it was - got my reservation for the 21st of September.

Thanks for the tip on refreshing, after searching for a bunch of different size groups ( I could've booked for 10, lol ) availability finally popped up for 2. I'm booked and fnally set to do our FP selections on Saturday.

The system is super glitchy. Even google incognito mode wasn’t working. The time would show but nothing would happen when I clicked on it. Then it started saying no availability. It finally worked on the app after clicking search times around 300 times until a time appeared and I was actually able to click on it & continue. Good luck to all. I know this was the last task on a lot of our planning lists!

Just got mine. Surprised that it opened clear out past November. First choice was not available for Nov. 27, so grabbed Nov. 30 for 7. My folks have a CaliGrill fireworks dinner that night, so they need to decide which to keep, and I can refund their portion if needed. Website was a little wonky. Would show me available dates and when I go to select the actual time to continue booking, it would freeze up. Had to right click that link to open in another tab, and that worked like a charm. Got mine for December booked too! Thanks for the right click tip! Now is anyone else still waiting for the e-mail confirmation? I am. Printed out the confirmation page and can see it is pending on my credit card, but still a little stressed with the lack of an e-mail. We all know how the Disney system can be....NEVER MIND, the e-mail JUST came....

That's the same as it was for me before I booked, but I just kept refreshing. And then I got a time showing for my date, but nothing happened when I clicked on it. I just logged in and then it worked fine.
