Is it just for Halloween or a permanent show?
Halloween? Is it just for Halloween or a permanent show?
I agree 100% but it may have a limited life based on the development of the future Villains-themed land in MK.it's currently indefinite (as there is no end date)
If they do keep it around for a long time, I hope they rotate more live-actor villains into the show.Halloween?

I agree. Saw the show today and thought the live actor villains were great! The beginning of the show was so screen- dependent I was wondering if that’s all it would be. But the villains had lots of personality and were very enjoyable. If they do keep it around for a long time, I hope they rotate more live-actor villains into the show.
That's what we were thinking. We saw it today and it was cute enough, but if it's just the same 3 villians (same exact show) then it's definitely not something we'll need to do much in the future. If they do keep it around for a long time, I hope they rotate more live-actor villains into the show.

Exactly my thought. Indiana Jones not changed in 35 years, Beauty & the Beast has changed theaters but same basic show for 34 years, Festival of Lion King changed theaters but same show for 27 years ............ AND any given ride has been the same for decades. If you don't like things repeated over and over Disney World is the wrong place to go!But couldn't that be said about any show in the parks? Some of them have been running for 30 years with little to no changes.

Isn't that the truth! Not to mention, when they DO change stuff, people freak out.![]()
What does the villains land in MK have to do with this show?Halloween?

There is something for everyone, and the Villains Show will likely be my Philharmagic. I went to Philharmagic a couple weeks ago (to escape the heat) and it was probably the first time post-COVID. And I likely won't go again for a few years, unless I need to escape heat or rain. That is the beauty of it all, and helps disburse the crowds. To me, a show is like a movie. You are welcome to watch multiple times, but it’s really intended for the person who hasn't seen it. There's no need to refresh or change frequently.
I watch Philharmagic 4 to 5 times a year and I still think it's awesome. Can't wait to see it again in 10 weeks.
True and the others I really like and wouldn't necessarily want changed. For me, this one was different. It was fine and like I said cute enough, but unlike Beauty & Beast, Frozen, Philarmagic, Carousel of Progress etc., it's just not something I'll be making a priority to see I guess. I am sure there are others that will feel this is a top priority for them though. But couldn't that be said about any show in the parks? Some of them have been running for 30 years with little to no changes.
I have to imagine that would be the case as well. It would make sense to me as a bit of a teaser as to what Villains Land is going to be while it is under development and construction. Then, once it opens up, shut it down, put a Muppets show there, and move Laugh Floor to Monstropolis, paving the way for a newly themed Tomorrowland.Halloween?

So to comfortably get in the show, would arriving 20 minutes before showtime likely get us in?
