Anyone watch Survivor? I have to admit, I smiled after the dual on Redemption Island.

Me too!

My boss is in WDW this weekend. I am wondering if he heard the sonic boom from Discovery today.

I will bet he did - we heard it in Tampa.

It's raining now - cool front coming thru. It was 81 today, but tomorrow it's suppose to rain and be 70. Friday is my birthday and it's only going to be 68! Growing up in Ohio, I always dreamed of what a nice summer birthday would be like - now I am pretty close :goodvibes

We heard the boom in the house here in Tampa. It was not as loud as others have been.

Hi everyone!

We just came back from 4 nights Bahama Cruise on the Disney Dream. We had a fantastic time on the ship, and we all agreed that 4 nights weren't long enough. So, we booked 7 nights on the Fantasy, and am so glad to see so many of you will be crusing with us!:yay:

Looking forward to getting to know you and meeting you on the ship.

Here is our info

Welcome. Let me know if you are interested in the FE and/or the SE.

My random thoughts ;) ...

Got oldest DS crossed over officially to Boy Scouts this past weekend (basically I and the Den leader were in charge of pretty much EVERYTHING), so I spent a few days decompressing.

Weather has been mid 30's... you can tell we are all ready for spring... snow is melting :dance3:, people are out walking w/ spring jackets or sweatshirts, and now tomorrow is suppose to be mid to high 40's... may happen again next week! :dance3:

Going to Eastern Wisconsin for Peewee State hockey tourneys... yay!... the end of the season! Now just to finish packing so we can leave tonight. We are going to tour a WWII submarine and museum tomorrow!

Keep picking up things for FE gifts... probably should stop for now so I can see what I actually have, need, etc... otherwise, it's like buying Christmas gifts year long... you keep buying, forget what you have, and then...:lmao:

Will be dabbling in the ADULT floats this weekend too! ;) :goodvibes
Oh, and did check into DCL jobs and such... not able to work 70+hours/wk though. May have to just look into future jobs on land, move to warm weather, etc... :goodvibes

Have a FABULOUS weekend everyone! Won't have a computer or technology hand helds with us (we don't own a laptop and have stone-age phones )

WELCOME ABOARD!! Glad you could join us.

I wold have gone with it's a typo that I made and you are the first to point it out.

No, I didn't poin it out. I was just clueless. Let me think abou it, will get back to you. I don't even have a fish extender! Good thing we have plenty of time to prepare before we sail!

Alrightie...I am missing my dose of this great DCL group.

So sitting here, Friday, watching the clock tick down until I am off work and free for the next week. We here in IA have hit 60 degrees yesterday, and that evil s@$w is almost gone. It'll still be another 1-2 months before we see green grass....but I can live with the forecast stating inches of rain instead of inches of s@$w.

The light at the end of the tunnel is still only 455 days to go. But in the mean time less than 2 weeks until baseball opening day! I gave up on the Vikings after about week 2 with Favre :sad2: so am really looking forward to taking the kids to a Twins game again. Anything to remind me it's Spring! :cool1:

Hmmm what else....It's amazing what you can get kids to do while holding the Mickey boat over their heads. They are filling up their piggybanks instead of spending, not going out to eat as much, and trying to earn allowances all to get some spending cash on the Mickey boat. Too bad they don't realize we've already booked for this cruise lol  We keep telling them we need to save and save so we can afford to go on the Mickey Boat someday in the future....hee hee evil I know....but they'll love the surprise!

Also another countdown, 2 more months until baby 3 comes along. I'd tell you what it was and add his/her name to the FE list....but on the off chance my wife happens to read it...I don't want to spoil the surprise. BTW do any of you have any experience with Flounders you can share. Or any tips/advice for bringing 1 year olds on a boat? I am having a tough time figuring out how we're going to try to do excursions with a 1 year old.

Also has anyone been to St. Marten before? Or know how long it takes to get to the airport there? Must sound crazy to you (I know it does to my wife) but really the only thing I want to see is the airport....

OK back to work....6 hours to go. Hope you all have a good Friday (and not recovering from St. Patrick's Day) and a good weekend!!!

My parents suprised me when I was young. I got in the car thinking we were driving to FL, but stopped at the airport to go to Cozumel. As a kid, I was a bit dissapointed in the change in destination as I had all my stuff packed for a car trip. So looking back I would have still enjoyed the suprise with an early notice.

For our last cruise (jan 3-8) we kept it a suprise til Christmas and gave DD a puzzle to open.
