OMG - can you say EXCITED!!!!! And our WDW portion came in yesterday! Life is good!

Cruise docs!!!

I need to call my agency on Monday and let them know not to mail mine out when they arrive, and that I will pick them up! (Most of the agents working for them are not local...I'm one of the few...and I want my docs as soon as I can get them, so I will pick them up at the office as soon as they arrive!)

Soooooo...I was going to buy a throwaway underwater camera for our cruise since I have the two perfectly good cameras already, and did not want to spend a few hundred on yet another one (albeit a waterproof one!). Lo and behold, Best Buy has a Sharper Image waterproof camera on sale right now for 59.99, plus I had a $30 gift card to use still. I just ordered it and it should arrive within a week!

Granted, it is only a 5.0 megapixel and has a very small LCD screen, and is waterproof only to 10 feet. But I figured it would be no worse than a throwaway, not too much more money than one, and I can use it again if it takes halfway decent pics. Will test it out as soon as it arrives!

I finished three more of the crafty portion of my FE gifts. Total of eight complete...19 more to go!

I am still letting my FE gifts dry after step one....(ummmm Shhh....I think they are dry now...) I need to buckle down I have a lot left to do!
I haven't heard anything about my FE, but I will give it a little while longer.....

Hoping everyone has a wonderful Sunday! The sun is shining here, it's got that crisp sweet scent in the air....the kids/grandkids are coming over for dinner....all is great...(except the fact I have to go to work tomorrow)

I received my FE yesterday...it came out sooo cute! What a deal!

We are heading out soon for our Sunday Family Hike and then home for pumpkin carving, laundry and beginning cruise packing. It is kind of gloomy outside today...we are hoping it doesn't rain before we finish our hike!

@Ukintheus: Cruise documents? That's too great. It makes all the weeks of planning real. We have a habit of getting ours about a week before hand. I wonder when Disney will mail them out to us?

Soccer was wet but we made it though the day. I came home soaked to the bone. We went out to celebrates my father's 70th birthday last night. Came home and fell asleep on the couch.

I'm up working on what I hope will be my last round of soccer. Once soccer is over then I can concentrate on cruising.

I will lurk today. We haven't been to the store in two weeks so that on my must do list for today. I also have a class to attend this evening, so I have to take my written test on-line before I go. (Thank goodness I have 3 tries to pass it)

We booked through DU, but our docs came straight from DCL (I'm assuming?), but I'm super excited that they are here regardless of who sent them! I shall thank the gods of mail for getting them to us so quickly seeing as we seem to be the only ones that have them so far. And even though I changed our transfers at the last minute, they have it all correct on the docs, so I was impressed with that

My FE gifts are about done, and I'm hoping that my printer has just enough ink to squeek one more printed sheet out today and I can be finished! I'm about to get on that here in a bit. I am glad that I had that one weekend where DH was gone, or I'd be really behind too, I have done very little with them since he got home, and I had very little LEFT to do!

Laundry and Nascar on the agenda for today....we don't have kids and yet the mountain of laundry still exists, although I have a feeling what I call a mountain y'all with kids might call a small hill

I think the laundry multiplies when I'm not looking...we went from no kids to two boys to no kids....I always seem to have a mountain of laundry...and our work clothes for the most part go to the dry cleaners....so....where does it all come from?

Sulley is running the vacuum upstairs, I'm baking cherry pie muffins, (glad the laptop is in the kitchen shhh! )

My FE gifts are all DONE! OK, but now I have a new paranoia (does it ever end? ) I'm doing a per cabin gift, and I stuck one in a pocket in my FE and it's HUGE compared to the pocket...over half of it sticks out....should I be worried about someone snagging them out of there? I'm not usually worried about stuff like that, but I would rather change it now if anyone has experience of it being a problem. I realize that there are threads where people worry about FE stuff getting stolen, and it looks like it's not common, but do most people pop stuff in the pockets so it's hidden??? I never thought about it fitting in a pocket!!!

I have to go back and read all the posts, but just got home from DS's flag football game (1st playoff game) and WE WON!!!

We lost every single game during regular season and we WON today! WOO HOO GO COLTS!!!

We also all decided to tailgate today so had a couple of adult beverages and lots of great snacks. Perhaps that is the winning combo for us. LOL

In any event, now on Saturday we play the team with the best record in our town and the winner will go to the "Superbowl" and play another town on November 5.

We shall see what happens, but fornow, we are all happy! DS made a touchdown and caught a pass for extra points. Couldn't be prouder!

Off to do the dishes from the pancakes and mini quiches that I brought for tailgating....

Darcy, more PC stuff sold the closer you could be to a camera.I'm at my second job today. I'm inside looking at radar and well decided that you all were important enough to check in on. Its warm and humid here to we are anticipating storms late this afternoon. That's fine my me I want to go out to dinner with my Dad tonight for his birthday.

5 weeks from today I can't wait.

I'm headed back outdoors. Pray for NO rain.

While that would be nice, the PC money is earmarked for Christmas gifts. We have been stashing away $$ for the cruise and since Christmas (and the kids birthdays) are not far behind the cruise, I need to plan for that, too.

Tonya - I hope it stays dry today for soccer.

We have a great weather this weekend - mid to high 70s and sunny! I can open the windows and wash sheets to get rid of all the cold and flu kooties I have.

So far no one else in the house is sick - so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Going to Kohl's this afternoon to use my 30% off and buy DS a suit for formal night. Still need to find something for DD. The teen dresses are strapless and she doesn't feel comfortable and the size 16 girls are too short!

Took DD and her friends to see Secratariat last night. It was excellent. I hope it's on the ship. I'd watch it again!

We went to see that a few weekends ago and all loved it. You know how it will end, but it was still exciting to watch the races. If it's in the theatre on the ship, I will hit that again. AND, we are very excited to see "Tangled" that comes out right before we sail.

Those sound VERY yummy Steph....I think you need to send me the recipe! And thanks for the kind words. It was so nice to see the boys win today (although it also means another week of practices, so be careful what you wish for. LOL)

The house is cleaned, the laundry is kind of caughtup, will probably throw in another load after the kids showers tonight, and the kids aren't fighting. Nice and quiet here for once!

We are heading over to a friends soon for some pizza and hanging out, even though they are the rival team that we beat today. It's all good in this small little town I live in.

We're skipping pumpkin carving this year. DS9 doesn't seem to notice or care. He doesn't like candy so he's just excited about being as super scary as possible!

Don't be sorry at all! I am not sure, but I can tell you that mine are kind of large too! They will definitely be sticking out of the pockets! I am sure there are many other with larger FE gifts too!
