ºoº "Epcot's Candlelight Processional 2005 F.A.Q. & Information,let's share our info.

Would you pick HJO or Cicely Tyson? Not a big fan of either... I'm a little disappointed :sad1:

Yea!!! Panthergirl. You're the first one to find the 2005 Candlelight information. I'll put the info on the front page from disneworld.com

Let the planning begin.

Who ever gets to be the first to buy a CP package, let us know.

Sincerely, Ray

what is the difference in the tiers? Does the 3rd get better seating or just a better place to eat?

How exciting! So again, for the second year, we know the narrators before the packages go on sale. That's great!

I now have to move my schedule around to avoid Phil Donahue! :earseek:

I will shoot for Thursday to see Haley Joel Osment instead! :goodvibes

Just a better place to eat. We all go into the same line...first come first serve of the package people. There will be two lines; package people and standby people.

Well, I finally finished the front page.

If they change narrators or anything, I mark a line through the part that is no longer valid and add the new information in red with the date changed.

I guess that I will see Phil Donohue on my first night before Mousefest starts.

And I guess that I will see Jim Caviezel on the Thursday that I get back the Mousefest Wonder cruise.

And they say we can start calling on August 15, 2005.

We can pick up the CP package tickets at the Epcot front gate.

I added some biographies from last years Festival Guide. A lot of new narrators for this year.

Happy planning everyone.

Sincerely, Ray

We will have Lou Diamond Phillips for the 13th.

That should be pretty cool.

Ahhh - looks like we'll get to see Marlee Matlin this year!! That makes my heart happy! :goodvibes

Thanks, Ray, for all your hard work! Hope to see you again one day soon.

When they say to pick up package tickets at EPCOT main entrance. Can you pick up your package tickets in the morning when we arrive instead of going back to the front later in the afternoon?

Looks like Gary Sinise for us on the 27th. I am excited about that as so many people have posted great things about him.

Can you only pick the package tickets from the Epcot front gate or can you also get them from your hotel?

I feel confident that you should be able to pick up your tickets in the morning.

I wonder if you can only pick them up in one place.

They have a Guest Services inside Epcot to the left of Spaceship Earth, and then another Guest Services outside Epcot to the right of all of the gates.

Maybe we'll find out more later.

I remember even picking up my CP package ticket/pin at the Epcot International Gateway entrance. It would seem like they would have to do this to accomodate all of the BW, BC, YC, Swan, and Dolphin resort guests.

They might even have a white tent located outside the American Pavilion wall on the same side that the Santa is located which when you face the pavilion it is located on your far left.

Sincerely, Ray

Oh bummer...either Phil Donahue or Haley Joel. Ah well...how bad can it be???

Looks like we will have our choice of Rita Moreno, HJO, or Phil Donahue........checking with hubby when he gets home from work. Of course, we could do the package one night and pop in on the others.....I've seen Rita Moreno so leaning towards one of the others...

Hi, Danauk. I don't think that they will announce the hotel pick up anymore.

As in the previous post, WDW said that you could pick up the CP package at the Epcot gates.

That will probably include the International Gateway entrance located between England and France, and maybe even a tent outside the American pavilion, and at the front Epcot gate.

Maybe someone will post more later about picking up CP tickets at their resort Guest Services.

Sincerely, Ray

I hope we can pick them up at the IG. We are staying at the BCV so this would be more convenient rather than having to walk all the way to the front of Epcot. Either that or pick them up at guest relations inside Epcot as we habe to report there that day anyway for our segway tour.

In 2003 I picked up my package stuff at the Guest services area in the front of Epcot. Last Nov we picked it up at BW. Wonder which way this year.

Does anyone know yet if we can choose the CP dinner package when signed up with the Magic Your Way Dining Plan?

During my time at Disney, the narrators will be Harry Hamlin, Marlee Matlin and Gary Sinise. For those who have seen any of these three, how was it? Which would you choose? And does Marlee Matlin do the narration in sign language? Does she speak or does someone else speak (sorry, I just don't know).

Thanks!

I saw her last year. She did the sign language while a friend (Jack?) read the narration at a podium off to the side (he's on the bottom right of the castmember green section). Here's a picture:

I'm disappointed that our favorite James Avery is not there again this year. We saw him 2 or 3 times, we loved him.

Hi, Diane. The CP tickets are printed up when you ask for them. WDW already has your name and information in the computer system. You'll probably be given a confirmation number over the phone when you buy your CP package. You'll just have to show proof of identification when you get to Epcot.

You will be able to pick up your CP package, clear, plastic, convention-type pin at Epcot when you pick up your CP ticket. They usually include all your information. The ticket is just a thin piece of paper that slides into the pin sleeve, and you wear it on your shirt so that the Cast Members can identify you. They may look closer to verify the date and time.

You'll also recieve a receipt and another piece of the ticket, a voucher to hand to your restaurant server.

I don't think that they will anounce the resorts to hand out the CP package ticket pins again, but I may be wrong. It won't hurt to ask and try. It certainly would be more convenient. Just don't forget to bring it with you.

These are the places that I have picked up my CP package ticket and pin. But WDW just says the front of Epcot for now. Try these places:

1. At the white tent located on the far right wall of the American pavilion as you face the pavilion.

2. At the International Gateway ticket counter for all of those guests staying at the Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Club and the Swan and Dolphin, or even those travelling from MGM by boat launch to Epcot I have renewed my annual pass here to.

3. At the Guest Services located to the left of the Spaceship Earth.

4. At the Guest Services located outside the Epcot entrance on the far right.

5. And possible, as a previous poster says, you may have them printed up at your Guest Services desk at your resort. This sure would be easier.

I hope that this helps. I have even been able to buy and pick up a CP package several days in advance while I was at Epcot in December.

Sincerely, Ray
