Not really, I like to sit up when I eat and not worry about crumbs because I can wipe it down after. Both not when in bed easy to do.

Yes! As a matter of fact I sent 5 boxes of goodies to my bro's soldiers (bro is Battalian Commander) in Afghanistan and he already received them and I have more ready to go! Plus I send to all my family on the very very cold east coast!

I don't see why not. bottoms up.

BTY, they do make footed pj's for adults. I've seen them at Target and I think VS sells them online but don't quote me.
