Peru, I have a bunch of friends that live in Lima. Plus then I could see Paradise falls which the movie UP! depicts as being in Peru.

TNP.......Would you rather take a transocean cruise from the US to Europe or Asia/Australia?

Ha! I have a ex-boyfriend from Peru, he lives there now. I'm friends with him on FB and get to see all his photos - such a beautiful country! One of DH's co-workers went to Peru a few months ago for a jet-ski tournament, so I got to live vicariously through his photos also. I think I would pick Asia/Australia.

Oh, I will have to tell my DH that. He is SO proud of that hat. He wore it to the DCA Halloween party last year, and all these random people kept giving him high-fives. Thus, he will probably wear it again this year.

My original was done over 20 years ago and Disney wasn't as big of a deal to me. The second on was symbolic. I wasn't supposed to live through a health problem in 2007. When I survived and was able to walk again and other things I felt that I had weathered the storm. I am the flower in the maelstrom.

NO disney or not its still a tattoo... and i like to look at tattoo's but not on my body i think it would look messy and dirrty--but i dont mind those rub on ones that eventually come off.. and i did have that fake henna tatoo on my finger that one time remember? im sure some of you do, i could not get the stuff off for WEEKS!!!

I ran a full (26.2 mile) marathon with my (at the time future) DH ... Honolulu 2000. I swore I would never run that many miles in one day ever again. I've stuck to that promise

Last year, I did the Nike Women's 1/2 in San Francisco (one of the most gorgeous courses I've ever ran) and this summer, DH and I did Napa-to-Sonoma 1/2. That one was awesome because you got to drink FREE wine afterward in the Sonoma town square DH is doing the SJ Rock N Roll right before we come to DLR. I'll be cheering him on I find that I'm happy doing one 1/2 marathon a year, any more than that and I start to hate running. I really, really want to do a Disney run - but I don't like the (Labor Day) timing of the DLR one. Maybe WDW

You have to tell me how the Nike one was last year!! I'm doing the full next month, not fully trained, but still doing it. Read some bad reviews, race stuff like water and the start line, not the course.

I'm doing the SJ RNR too!! I figure I have to run 13 that day, might as well get a medal!! Plus it's like 5 miles away from my house so no travel drama.

You should totally do the DL 1/2. Park isn't crowded crowded and it's tons of fun. Plus you get to go backstage and see tons of cool stuff.

2, 1 on each side of my lower back. Right side is the Japanese conchi for strength and on the left is Niente senza sforzo, which means nothing without effort in script and italian. It's got some curly lines under it.

If you don't have a tattoo have you ever thought about getting one and what kid would you want?

I'm adding another one next month after my race. On the edge of the conchi I'm going to have a pair on running shoes dangling, like you see over wires in the street, and under the conchi 26.2 and under that 2010. Haven't decided yet on the style and color of the 26 and 2010 though.


Are you doing what you wanted to do jobwise as a kid? If so, are you happy you stayed with it?
