Sweet! Puzzles are fun. Just finished a Snow White 1000 piece one actually. Now just starting on a generic kitten one. I like them because they keep me busy so I don't spend money I shouldn't be spending.

Yes, in a similar deal as you, I like to stir fry all that stuff. I don't know about you but my chard seems to have a lot of dirt in it. But yeah those odd things are good for stir fry veggies.



TNP.........Have you ever ridden an Amtrak? Where did you go?

Stir fry, that's sort of how I was leaning. lol But I was thinking roasted potatoes with the beets would be interesting. I have 2 good kitchen windows, the rest of our house is pretty dark, in the winter all the plants that are outside now come in and out living room looks like a jungle. LOL yes, including the plants I counted yesterday we have a lot more that are outside from spring-fall, they either get covered if it's going to frost (ie the Ficus) or they come inside. In my kitchen windows I've got at least 4 plants in each window and we have a window box outside with all but 2 of our carnivorous plants, I think I miscounted yesterday, we have like 6 carnivorous plants and I think I said we have 4. DBF wants to take an old fish tank and turn it into a terrarium, which would be cool and totally do-able...if I had a job. ROFL I know, I'm a broken record. LOL

My disneyland pass. umm the diamonds in the black pouch from last weeks hiest, and maybe my rocket launcher!

We have done DCA first thing in the morning, it was amazingly cool.

Ohhhh.... feeling very down about the economy, Silicon Valley, etc. - so at this very moment - I would wish to be independently wealthy! That kind of wish never works out though

I have the SAME wish! But I'd rather do laundry then dishes.

Oh Gawd, I was in my local dollar store and no kidding the seasonal area at the front goes from Halloween to Christmas already. It's like they are still selling stuff from christmas. I don't want to see that until at least the week of Thanksgiving.

What is the longest you've run at one time?

I ran a full (26.2 mile) marathon with my (at the time future) DH ... Honolulu 2000. I swore I would never run that many miles in one day ever again. I've stuck to that promise

Last year, I did the Nike Women's 1/2 in San Francisco (one of the most gorgeous courses I've ever ran) and this summer, DH and I did Napa-to-Sonoma 1/2. That one was awesome because you got to drink FREE wine afterward in the Sonoma town square DH is doing the SJ Rock N Roll right before we come to DLR. I'll be cheering him on I find that I'm happy doing one 1/2 marathon a year, any more than that and I start to hate running. I really, really want to do a Disney run - but I don't like the (Labor Day) timing of the DLR one. Maybe WDW
