~ °O° ~ Any Single Disney Men Out There?? ~ °O° ~ Part 4

That is not selfness at all... I go on trips without my son all the time.

Now we do go on a cruise together every year which is his birthday and Christmas present. But if he wants to join me at Disney, then he has to pay his own way. Now would you call that a bad parent? :rolleyes1

O
I make G do the same thing Teresa, I pay for the room but he has to pay for his plane fare and his AP, and if he wants to do DDP he has to pay for that as well. The way I look at it is he makes good money and is almost 26 years old so he shold pay for his own vacations...so if that is mean then I am the Queen of the Mean Mommy Club...:rotfl:

So...have you stayed at AK villas yet? Yummy!! I love Boardwalk for the location, but there's a special charm to watching the giraffes snack outside your hotel room at 2am...:rotfl2:

As I have quietly looked here a time or three, I'd like to join you happy people, if I may!

I'm 36, a single mom, living in Michigan. Its nice to meet everyone!

:goodvibes

:welcome: party: :jumping1: To Everybody who have decided to join in!! We are a nice group of happy people here!!

I am super happy right now, I just got home from seeing Wicked, and it was AMAZING!!! It was so interesting to see how they adapted the somewhat complicated book by Maguire, mixed in a little of Baum, added some great comedic dialog and a surprise ending!! I can't wait to see it again! I would have bought tickets to two showings if I would have known how much both Tawney and I would love it! Two huge freaking thumbs up!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

This is a long thread! That could mean one of two things: 1. There are lots of Disney men out there who love to chat on the Dis, or 2. There are no Disney men out there and we just have to keep the thread running, fingers crossed, and keep the Halelujah's coming! On that note...!

I'm Kristen, 25, and I live in Chicago. Born and raised in NH and moved here 3 years ago. Boy do I miss Brigham's and regular hot dog rolls!

How is everyone!

I am jealous! LOL... not really but I did miss the chance to see Wicked when it was here because of school but now that that is done lots can happen. Loved the book though so am sure I will like the stage production.

Lets just say that there is a reason that every show sells out! I am still in awe. I hope you get a chance to see it soon.

Good morning all you beautiful DIS'ers!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Good Morning! :goodvibes
Weather here is kinda cloudy at the moment, temperature going into the 80's with humidity...looking like a chance of rain...ugh.

I'm ready for a cup of coffee now! :surfweb:

Coasteraddict. I don;t know how to copy your question to a reply so if someone tells me how I can do that in the future. I stayed at ak before it was a dvc resort and yes having a view of the annimals was fantastic. All this disney talk it making me want to book a quick trip down there.

Also yes good to see that there are 50 year old disney fans as i think the place never loses it magic.

I currently pay for the kids all the time maybe I need to make them pay lol

:welcome: Mnra...glad to see someone else who is 50 young...:lmao: I'm a widow (2nd marriage) and 1st marriage ended in divorce. I have one son who is 23 and lives with me. So don't feel alone in that department. It looks by the ages of your kids that you have twins. I bet they keep you busy. Are you kids boys or girls? I've been to WDW during the flower garden festival, which I just love looking at all the beautiful flowers. This December will be the first time I've been there for Christmas. Taking my Dad then, to celebrate his 80th "B" Day. He's never been. I'm so looking forward to seeing his reaction to WDW. :goodvibes

Hi thanks for the welcome my twins are boy/girl and my oldest is a girl. Christmas time at disney is just wonderful and have done that twice in the last 5 years. It is so nicely decorated that words cann;t describe it and I know you will love it.

The sun is starting to peek out after a rather overcast and cloudy morning...

I already had 2 cups this morning...Looking through WDW restaurant menus on allearsnet.com can be quite exhausting and build up an appetite...not to mention, time consuming keeping you up into the late night hours...:rotfl:

Would it be possible to send some sunshine here...the sun has yet to peek through...just been overcast, cloudy and humid.

Thank you for the welcome! :goodvibes

I've always wanted to go see Wicked. I will someday!

:goodvibes very cool!

Well, I spent my morning shopping, and my afternoon in the pool (which I am now convinced is totally fixed yay!)

It has been a beautiful day. Tomorrow I get my final OK to go back to work FULL duty! Yee haw! That opens up a lot of potential for overtime and $$$ since I am so trip happy lately! Life is good.
