For those testing FP+, can you still get regular fast passes? I heard the bands won't work for both.

We are doing 3 resorts (POR, SSR, AoA) starting 8/15 and have tickets thru a discounted provider. My guess is we won be eligible. Not sure how to check.

Don't get your hopes up. Disney told me it was an error that have me access. If I was a real tester I would have received an email......not sure if it is correct but it was what FP disney tech told me.

I'd be interested to see if some people that were told it's an error called back and got a different CM if they would have a different answer. Don't want to get my hopes up too high (we are staying at YC during the dates and do have access to FP+ today) but also don't want others thinking they don't have it when they actually might...

Yes same here. I don't want to dump anymore time into planning it though without having a definite answer that we are going to test it out.

Did anyone see the suggestion on other boards that the number variety/number of fast pass choices you get per day will depend on what tier accommodations you have? Ex deluxe guests have more options/fp's than value or off property guests???? What are your thoughts?

Me too- but set ride choices, set available times......lots of speculation about how that is all decided. Randomly or based on your reservation.

I was wondering the same thing about those who got an email...
I have not yet received Mickey Mail and when I saw this today, I was hoping this was (is) the reason! Fingers crossed!!

Hmm...room only seems to be a common thread. I've seen three of those that are confirmed as room only now that have been selected.

Thanks again for sharing. Interesting that they selected a headliner ride when you didn't finish your selections. Could be random, could be by design. Can you modify times for the individual selections or do you have to pick a time grouping?

We have a room only reservation and got selected for MagicBands and Fastpass + but since we haven't linked our tickets yet (DH is dragging his feet for some, strange, unknown, annoying reason) so I'm assuming when we finally get them and we link them, we'll be able to add the Fastpass+.

I'm sure this has been covered before but the regular Fastpass systems will still be in place next month right?

2 weeks from tonight we will just be finishing up our first dinner at 50s Prime Time at Studios. Sigh. One more training trip out to Madison WI then I'm officially on Mickey Time. Can't wait!!!!!

Just read someone else on the pop century thread called disney since online they could pick their bands and FP+ and they were told if you can pick these things then you have been picked to test. No mention of needing an email.

Just booked LC Steakhouse for August 26th. Was surprised they still had reservations available. Can't wait! Have never eaten there but always wanted to.

My mom brought over our Mickey Mail today. I was so excited. We haven't done online check-in so this was the first thing to make the trip feel real.

We are officially not part of the Magic Band test group. I am really not so disappointed, I would like a Magic Band as a KTTW card, but I don't want to be a part of the FP+ fiasco. Heck I'd just like a Magic Band!

I'm so jealous of all of you getting magic band info, fast pass plus scheduling too and of course the Mickey mail! We're at 30 days tomorrow and no Mickey mail yet :-( I know it will come, I'm just impatient!


Soooooo excited for this vacation I'm almost worried it'll be a let down even though we're going to Disney and I know it'll be great! The let down is sure to come on go home day when it sets in its over lol
