Hi all!!! I am coming here to find comfort because I'm STRESSED!!! We leave for vacation in 26 days (I can't BELIEVE its so close now!!). I have SO MUCH to do in the next 3+ weeks I just don't know HOW I'm going to get it all done!!!

1. Josh has Senior Pictures this Monday at 1pm
2. Josh is going in the hospital on Wednesday for 5+ days of treatment. His rejection is worse again and they decided now is the time for more treatment. This in itself is a HUGE stressor
3. Several years ago, Hurricane Ike (or the remnants of Ike) came through and flooded my finished basement, ruining it. My basement is being painted and new flooring put down while we're gone, but right now, it is FULL of all my mom's things because she has been moving in with us over the past month. We need to get it all OUT of there so my handyman can come in. When am I going to do this>???
4. I haven't even BEGUN to pack and I still need to get our snacks for the road, etc.

Lord help me I'm stressed!!!!!

(((HUGS)))...take one day at a time. Enjoy the fun stuff Senior pictures is an awesome milestone!! Can you hire a teenager in your neighborhood to move boxes and stuff from your basement? Packing will happen...put a bin out for now and start collecting items in it, then when it's time to pack it will be easier.
Praying these treatments for Josh are just what he needs to be healthy and Disney ready!

Yep.. this definitely calls for one of those itemized lists where you check things off one by one. There is something immensely satisfying about checking those things off the list. And I find if I write it down it doesn't have to be swirling around in my head anymore so I start to relax. Don't get overwhelmed by the list... it can all be done. The only thing that matters is Josh's health. Everything else will work itself out. Sending strength and hugs to both of you!!

I go away for one weekend and have a million pages to catch up on!

We are on our last day of our last trip until Disney! I'm a bit worried, we're at their grandparents house that they've been to a handful of times, yet they still don't feel comfortable and ended up both sleeping with me. I hope I don't spend Disney nights sharing a bed with 3 other people! College flashbacks!

I checked and MDE has all my ressies there, but nothing about +. I don't think I want to try it this trip, too much change for me!

7 weeks from this moment I will be loading a plane for Florida! So excited!

Couldn't have said it better myself. I always feel when I write it down I don't have to hold it in my head anymore. Then crossing something off will feel amazing!

Awww, senior pictures! There is a lot going on, but I'm lifting you all up in prayer. Praying Josh's treatment goes well and does the trick! That his body will accept and he'll be able to enjoy life with fewer hospital visits. Praying for peace and strength for you. Make small goals for getting things moved out of the basement and packed.

This will be my 8th trip to Disney There's going to be 8 of us going in two Nemo Suites at the AoA - from August 12th - 26th. There's me (22), my boyfriend (23), sister (17), sister's best friend (17) in one room. Second room has mom, dad, aunt, and grandmother (I don't think they'd be too happy if I posted their ages ;D).

This will be my first trip going to Disney being 21+. The next 36 days cannot go by fast enough, haha.

I'm so silly I find myself writing this post seriously just to look at my ticker and be excited lol. Anyone else do that? But since I am writing I was wondering (if I may be so bold) to do a QOTD? What are some traditions you do every year when you go to WDW? And if this is your first year are you excited to start one, and what will it be?

Every year my dh and I go out to a nice byob and bring a bottle of Chateau Montelena Chardonnay. It is like the kick-off to our Disney Anniversary celebration. We also always make sure we get the anniversary pins. The cast members see them and always make the trip a very special one!

DxDP or DDP + a few OOP TS meals? Obviously it would change some ADRs, but I could make it work with the regular dining plan. But we'd still have to pay OOP for a few character meals to get everything in that we want to...but I think we'd still save a couple hundred possibly?

I already did! We love it since it includes the dining pics you usually have to buy separately! so you get the prints "for free" and they are on the CD as well!

I already have my PP+. For us it is worth it. We always end up with lots of great pictures and I love having it all pre-paid. We also have a few ADRs at places with the picture packages and I love that the ride photos are included.

Big, big hugs coming your way! Take a deep breath and as someone else said, make a list and tackle it one thing at a time. Even if you set a timer for 15 minutes and work on the basement. You can do it in small amounts.

We purchased ours and just got it in the mail yesterday! I love PhotoPass+. We used it on our December trip and were very happy with it. We saved money by pre-ordering and it was so nice not to be hassled at character dining locations to buy the photo packages. They just handed them right to us and a code to add it online! My oldest loved adding ride photos too! I highly recommend it!

We are doing the DxDP at my husband's insistence this trip, however I priced it out with the regular dining plans and the difference between our packages is about $1000! Yikes! I think in the future I might stick to the DDP and one or two out of pocket. But keeping hubby happy and going back was a priority for me, especially since we were just there six months ago!

Just made a breakfast reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe. I have only had dinner there, but the breakfast menu looks great. Anyone here had the WCC breakfast?
