We'll be at POR 8/17-24 with DS10, DS6, and DD4. We have some days in common. Will be at EPCOT on 8/19, and are breaking on 8/22. Maybe we'll see you around the pool.

What time is everyone landing in Orlando and what do you do for your first day?
I usually try to get one of the first flights out so this time we are leaving JFK at 7:30 and landing at 10:10. Hopefully, we'll be at Pop by 11-11:15. I don't usually make plans for the first day since you never know what can happen with flights. So once we are checked in, we get on whichever bus comes first (as long as its one of the parks easywdw has as a recommended park). On the 16th, it's MK, HS, or AK. We are going to AK the next day so we'll either be at MK or HS and then DTD for dinner
BTW.. for anyone looking for a rental car, Dollar and Alamo rates are dropping and I just got a 9 day standard car for $206 with Alamo
That's really a Full-Size though because Alamo doesn't have a standard aisle at MCO.
Ok, not completely because I have changed it a million times so far! We were planning on checking into the BC and walking over to HS and going to Epcot for a 7:25 ADR at LeCellier. Then I found out about JC. So I thought it would be better to check-in, relax a bit, have lunch (we have a 12:45 ADR at Captain's Grille but I'm not stressing about keeping it - it's not a CC guarantee, so if our plane is delayed that morning I'll call and cancel from the airport). Then unpack, relax, hit Epcot for an hour or two before our dinner and then head over to MK for EMH and aim to ride JC!
Can I join in? We're 8/23 - 9/2 and I can't wait. I want to talk about it every day but no one else wants to hear it, so I kinda need to join you folks.
We're arriving at MCO at 2pm, so likely not at the hotel until after 3pm. Last year I tried to do a dinner and we barely made it, so this year I don't plan on doing anything except hanging out at the pool and perhaps if the kids are up for it, do the Chip and Dale sing along at Ft. Wilderness. Our first ADR is the following day.
I've had 6 doses of the antibiotic now and I am feeling 100% better today and appreciating not being in that much pain!!
My parents close on the cottage July 15th and there is a whole gang of us (most of my siblings and my parents) heading up for the long weekend at the start of August
So we'll keep the Disney trips as planned and still get to go the cottage in August and at Thanksgiving!!
I think our summer trips will now be a cottage week, and we'll do Orlando or other places in the winter
Yay! Glad the tooth and the cottage have been all figured out! The good part about being days behind on this thread is that things tend to resolve themselves by the time I get to the end

Now that you mention it, I totally remember that I saved a link to the old site from your previous post. In my excitement to check-in, I totally forgot! Thanks for the reminder. If I get bored, I may check-in on that site, too. I see the alternate site asks for an email address in order to get an email confirmation. Since the other one didn't do that, it may be worth going through the process again to get one. Thanks again!
