We will be there 14-20. Not sure of itinerary. It is my 5 year old daughters MAW so we will be staying at Give Kids the World. It is my husband and I and our 3 kiddos. Our wish kid is the baby. We have been once before ( stayed at Shades of Green). We went in July that time. How is Sept different from July? I have heard it is less crowded.
Hey my husband and I will be there same dates!! :) so excited!!

Woohoo look what I got today!!!

Ok I'm also a little blonde today but can someone refresh my memory, the plastic tags come from Disney themselves right, not DME? Also does anyone know what this years design looks like?

Thanks for posting. I needed the reminder to set up my ME!!! I don't know how that keeps slipping my mind.

I called this morning to switch us from WL to GF. And yes, it's because of the pool situation.

Anyone else thinking about switching from WL?

I switched, but changed things entirely up. We were counting on two resort pool days. So we downgraded to ASMu, added park hopper water parks and more & upgraded to DDP. Made ADR's at some signature restaurants where my two finicky little eaters wouldn't dare go & reserved a cabana at BB. We're still going to do WL in June 2015 with the kids, and with my non-kid savings this year am trying to get a bunk CL room next year. So, I'm happy with our switch.

We switched from the Poly to Beach Club because of the pool situation.

Starting to 2nd guess myself now though.

Anyone stay at both these resorts?

Did I make a smart decision?

I will have three boys with me 16, 15 & 9 who love the water so I thought SAB looked good.

There's another thread on the boards about why September is the best time to visit Disney...but so many people are talking about the miserably hot weather and now I'm starting to freak out a little bit.

I'm not a hot weather person. I like winter. My friends call me the Snow Queen. It's 80ish in Michigan right now and I hate it.

We visited Washington DC last year in the middle of August...it can't be worse than that...can it?!

Ugh...why didn't we wait until Feb?

Actually I need to do this as well, thanks for the reminder! ;)

Also only $275 more until the package is paid off. That includes park tickets, a stay at POP, and a dining plan! So excited!!!!

We visited DC in the middle of August last year too! I didn't find it too hot honestly but everyone is different. Florida will be more humid but the crowds are so low that you'll be able to get inside somewhere or in line for something and be ok. The worst parts are waiting for a bus, walking into the parks, to your hotel room etc. And honestly I'm totally willing to be a lil humid for such low crowds!

Oh no! It's very, very hot & humid in September. The afternoon showers tend to help cool you off. But yes, it is bad. Every year I tell myself I will never go again in September, yet every year I go again because you just can't beat the low crowds (they're even lower than February.) I'm sure you'll have a blast! Walmart sells those spray fans that they sell at the parks for a fraction of the cost and they really work to cool you down. Try and pack one of those! :)

We did pick September for the low crowds...I have to hold onto that thought because to me, low crowds is worth the hot weather. I hate crowds and I know if we went when there were a lot of people hubby would never ever go again!!

I'm sure it will be fine...I just need something to worry about! LOL

I cannot wait to expirence the low crowds. I am hoping that wait times will be more manageable (especially with Anna and Elsa) I am an Annual Pass Holder so I can't book fastpasses for 30 days out instead of 60 :worried:. We do have a few days planned to be at the MK at rope drop so hopefully if I can't get a fastpass we can atleast see them first thing.

We originally wanted to stay at Poly, but opted to do WL because of the construction. And now we've switched because of construction. Ironic, huh? But with Poly the construction is ALL over, so I would say you made a good choice. We stayed at BC last summer before our cruise solely because of the pool (no parks that trip), and it is awesome! We would have considered staying there again this time, but nothing was available and we really wanted to be near MK.

We originally wanted the Polly also! And also booked WL because of Polly's construction. Then found out last week about the pool closing and switched to AKL because we could still get FD package there. We really wanted a MK resort this trip, but alas we like our pools with slides. Maybe in 2016 we can get a MK resort.

We totally disagree. We are from Missouri and love to escape the humid heat of summer. The few times we went in September, the weather was fantastic! It is warm enough to swim but cool enough we don't take the mister fans. We have gone in July & August and suffered but September(mid-late) it is pleasant. Check accuweather and see what normal is. And decide if that is doable and what to pack.

Normal highs are 90ish...but we are last week of September so I'm hoping that it's starting to get to the cooler end of hot! :cool2:
