Your experiences please with flying on Thanksgiving.

We Went to WDW the Tues. before Thanksgiving. I think we got very lucky with great airfare prices. Was it expensive to fly on Turkey Day? Yes I know it varies by region and....... But what were your experiences? We were thinking of flying in on Thanksgiving so we could extend the back end of our trip. I don't know if we are pushing our luck right into huge airfares.

We flew, out of Boston Logan, on Thanksgiving Day, a few years ago...non-stop flight, with Delta (if I remember correctly). Got a very good fare, much better than I would have thought. But, airfares are just flat out crazy nowadays.
