I agree no one is stomping their feet and screaming that stores should be open or closed. But that doesn't mean people haven't posted they'd like stores closed when it's important to them...I haven't seen anyone here take a legalistic perspective. Now if someone were taking the perspective of "All businesses should be closed because it is a Holy Day , gosh darnit!", or "All businesses should be open because not everyone celebrates Easter , dag nabbit!", or "I want to shop and therefore all stores should be open for me to shop in, dang it !", then I could see why this discussion has even happened. But there's no actual argument here that I can see amongst us.
The problem is I'm old school. I liked that we were not living and breathing for the almighty dollar. You still have 363 days to get what you need. If we close under the name of Christmas or Easter don't fix it because it's not broke. It's worked for a long time. I would also like to go back to when stores were closed on Sundays. I guess I'm really dreaming.
