It was summertime - they went to Jones beach and went in our pool in the backyard. After being at the beach all day, they would literally have to be forced into the shower by my aunt because they were all going out to a club in the evening and the Italians didn't feel it necessary to wash off all the beach dirt/grime/sweat/smell.....

I can so picture how that went down...although depending on what club they were going to it may have been acceptable
