Okay I keep second guessing all of our reservations that I made ADR over 100 days ago. We are an adventurous club, always ready for fun, But want my little one not to just limited to Chicken fingers and Fish. But like to stick to American Fare with some fun. We leave in 31 days. We are a party of 5 2 adults, 2 tweens (11 and 12), and 1 DD9
We want to do some character meals...
All reservations are for dinner and we are on the DDP.

Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney Dinner 6pm
Chip 'n' Dale's Harvest Feast Dinner at Garden Grill 7pm
Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare 8pm
50's Prime Time Cafe Dinner 5:35PM
Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner 6:40pm

I have just been reading so many bad reveiws recently, and not sure if it is because they are during spring break and busier times, the beginning of May no way will as Busy as say Easter week, or Spring Break....Help:hippie:

This is why you keep second guessing! ;) It is the beast of reading reviews. Reviews usually cause me to cancel something because I want to try what they serve somewhere else and it looks delicious. I have never cancelled a ressie because of a bad review. I would form your own opinion if the menu appeals to your family.

Good Luck!

The problem with reviews is that they have to be taken with a grain of salt. It's not because someone had bad service that it will be the same for you. It's not because someone doesn't like the red sauce that you won't like it either. I'm really easy going when it comes to food and will give any restaurant a second chance and out of over 30 restaurants that we've tried at Disney, only 2 I won't return to and yet one of them is a favorite on the Dis.

Most people hate Hollywood and Vine, we like breakfast but really hate lunch. No issue returning there just not for anything else other then breakfast. Narcossess I raved here and we've been twice and have decided to not return. The food was not worth the price. For chewy lobster, I'll go some where less expensive. Many here hate Yatchman, it's a must for us.

out of the ones you have reserved, I have nothing bad to say about it. We really liked Garden Grill. We love the fact that the serve family style at the table and everyone can choose what they want from either kids or adult options. the only thing my girls didn't like was the chicken drum stick as it was very blend. We all enjoyed the rest of the food.

1900 PF is so much fun. The characters are worth every penny. The buffet is awesome. It's I think the best character buffet you can have. You will be amazed at the choice of food.

Rainforest, well it's rainforest. We like it too.

50 prime time is home made food. We liked it. We liked he liked the different options and the atmosphere.

We liked most of the items at Whispering Canyon. Once again the chicken wasn't that great but the rest was good. We would go again just skip the chicken as it was blend. We are not blend food people I guess LOL

good luck!

Hiya! I'm in the same boat. I made all my ADRs and now I'm 2cnd guessing! I had no idea this would be so complicated. We are doing the Harvest Feast too & I'm excited for that one. I just say keep what you have.

Read reviews on tripadvisor, not here. Too many people here post reviews and 1) they haven't been to the restaurant in years or 2) they've never been and are just posting based on other reviews (that really makes no sense to me when people do that). Tripadvisor will give you really current reviews..

Keep in mind different people have different tastes, etc and most importantly as this can happen to EVERYONE...and I've said this before...one day a place can be a great and the next day it can be...well...not so great, so many factors are dependent on an experience.

I write reviews for my website and honestly I have to say, one time we'll have a great experience at a place and the next it might not be so good or vice versa (did I just say that LOL! :lmao:)...really...I always say don't let a bad experience deter you.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and even places that get rave reviews on here may be...well, not so great to someone else.:thumbsup2

Stick with what you got and don't worry about it, you be the judge, everything is not going to be 100% all the time and that's just the way it is. If it's a character buffet and you find the food to be just ok, I'm sure you can find something that you like and then just make the best of the characters. Even at it's worst there's still something good!::yes::

Thanks all, Just at the point where I am over analyzing everything, and I know breathe this is suppose to be vacation and a fun, thing. I am just gonna go with it, I think we did great with the ADRs I did get and times.
