:scared: Hi we are going for the first two weeks in September 2008 and are from the UK. We are worried what to do for evening meals in the parks and resort. We are staying off Disney Property and have heard horror stories:eek: of people being turned away from all the resturants. What do we have to do to be able to eat in disney resturants?:confused3 We just dont know. Please HELP:scared1:

Just make advance dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. You do not have to be staying at a Disney resort to do so.

Make your reservations at the 180 day mark for where you want to eat. You can always change them (or try to!) later if you decide you don't want to eat there.

Don't worry!

plan plan plan :thumbsup2 you can't go wrong !! WDW is NOT a holiday where you can just show up and let things happen. you need to decide when and where you want to eat and book at 180 days :)

Especially coming from so far away, I would make sure I was planning for your Holiday by making ADR's...if you change your mind, you can always cancel them but at least have some in place.

Welcome to the Dis, fire away if you have anymore questions...many are more than willing to help.

Take the good advice from the replies you've had.
We too are from the UK,we will be back in WDW in Oct for our 5th visit.
Use the ADR's, we do and it's the way to go every time.

Keith.

You'll be fine, but make your ADRs as early as you can...especially for very popular restaurants like Le Cellier.

If you make ADRs early, you'll have a choice of times to eat where you want. If you make ADRs late, you'll have to settle for late dinners and lunches -- or, if you wait too late, you won't get anything at all.

Most of the people who get turned away from restaurants (and there are a LOT of them) either did not know, or did not believe, they needed to make ADRs. You do need to make them. You won't get in otherwise, especially during Free DDP period.
