I would not do a 12:40 flight out of SNA on debarkation day. Our weather that time of year can prevent the ship from a timely docking. It happened on the first Hawaii cruise. The cruise that had arrived before ours was late docking due to fog. Also SNA is at least a 40 min drive from the port maybe longer due to our traffic and constant freeway construction here in the L.A. area. Now this I am not sure about but I believe Disney is only offering airline check in for LAX. So if there is a problem with customs clearing luggage you have another delay.

Is there any reason to think that the show schedule for the WBPC will be somewhat the same as the last EBPC? Like, will Toy Story be on Semi-Formal night again? Or should I just pick a random night for Palo dinner and change it onboard once I see the master schedule? Last spring I really hated having to waste time in Wavebands after embarkation when I could have been up on the pool deck already, LOL.

I would say it would very. As for the extra shows I would say its all about talent availability. They might want someone but they might not be free.

I know the talent will vary. I'm just trying to figure out which night will be Toy Story, because we don't like that show and are trying to book a late reservation in Palo after spending the early dinner time in the MDR with our family.

My fault. I hear you about Toy Story. Sitting through that was worse than a root canal.

This is something we should do after the DIS meet on embarkation day, or on one of the at-sea mornings. On the Pixar Cruise, we met at the embarkation meeting and then scheduled things from there. We had two playdates during the week...sports & games; drinks & pool movie.

When we saw it, it was not good. About 40 minutes into it, it was clear anyone under 4 was also bored. The whine of one was picked up by a row, and soon everyone was whining and in the aisles.

I will be skipping this one. I also didn't care for Villains, although I like the villain numbers in the other shows.

I agree the meet and greet meeting is a good place for the kids to see each other and play dates can be arranged. With castaway the second day we probably will not be "at the pool" until the third day. If there are only a few children it will make it easier for them to get to know each other. On our last trip after lunch on embarkation day we went to the childrens club so he could get a feel for the place and it made it much easier to then drop him off there after his dinner. His mum didn't feel like she was abandoning him- he on the other hand has no problem going to the club its getting him to leave thats our problem.

villains is not done on the Wonder so you will not have to worry about that. I won't be at any of the normal shows. Seen them way to many times. I may go to the special acts just depending on if its of interest or not.

That sounds like a great idea. I'd love it if Lorelei had several different kids she could know that will be at the clubs.

Count us in for the roaming Mickey!

Also, is anyone interested in doing a stateroom crawl? Basically "tour" one of each kind of room. I've never seen an ocean view stateroom and I'm sure other people would like to see other kinds as well. Anyone on the thread have a suite? :)

While I would be very much interested in seeing other types of cabins, like the oceanview or the navigator's verandah (or the suites :) ), DH is not so much in favour of having so many visitors in our stateroom since that means he would have to put his things way tidily for a change ;)

So while I know this is not very helpful at all - I'd like to come see other cabins in a cabin crawl, but I couldn't open ours for many visitors. Sorry!

I have put the meet in the calendar on day 1 for "after lunch" for now, but if you all come up with something different, just let me know and I will update the calendar.
