if you liked that beer, the purple haze from the same craft beer stand is pretty good, has a berry flavor on the finish...my wife loves those. and they are 100 times better from the draft they pour there than bottle you buy in store...berry weiss, is a very good beer also, glad you tried it.Beer Time! It was right at 11am so we just ordered one small of the Berry Weiss. Now I do not like beer but this was awesome! Very light and a touch of fruit to it, planning on getting 2 the next time so we dont fight over it
we loved this one too, nice crisp flavor on a hot day...I had the Angry Orchard Hard Cider - Crisp Apple. This was great, had a sweet bite to it and went down easy
MMMMM Bop is easier to listen to when you are drinking!
thanks for posting the photos of the goodies from The Land... I had a photo of the banana cake but no sign so I didn't know what that was. Question answered!
You're killin' us with your amazing F&W selections! Oh my! Sounds like dropping by Tutto Gusto is worth the trip!
I'm not going to say a word about this, not a single word. All I'm going to do is
Do you think he can get us a walk-in at the Crystal Palace for breakfast while we are there in December?
Hi Nicki, joining in at long last!
We're here at WDW too and eating a lot of the same stuff as you are.
Can't wait to hear more
AWESOME picture of you two.
Awww, such a cute couple.
Awesome reviews...I do not know where Todd puts all that food.
Jill in CO
You two look wonderful. So would you go back to Tutto Italia?
Great pic of ya'll! I love the wine bar in Italy and I don't think everyone knows about it yet because it's always available! Shhh let's keep it that way . Oh and don't worry about us not meeting we will get it done next time...Have fun!!
Lookin great!!! Sooo tan!!!!! Love!! That banana cake looks amazing!
The zucchini and your entree at Tutto Italia look incredible. I also really enjoyed Tutto Gusto, and your reviews are making me really hungry for Italian food.
Lovin it!! More great reviews! Upsetting about my blueberry pancakes at Boma...I'll be upset if they are not there when we go! I am so glad you tried that banana cupcake...want that baby!! And, I would like to try to grab one of those fall ones at Contempo!! Have you seen signs of the great pumpkin one from last year?
Your Tutto Italia food looks amazing - especially the veggies. I learned long ago from one of my bella Italiana friends that I should never say "sauce" it's gravy!! Bummer that the whoppie pie was a waste. It sure looked good. But that banana cake, I have my eye on that!
Waiting to see if Boma is a three-peat during this trip!
OMG- I saw on your menu that they have pici pasta now at Tutto Gusto- that is my FAVORITE pasta of all time, they serve it in Tuscany- usually with ragu, but in Italy (the REAL Italy, not the Epcot Italy) it is with wild boar ragu (cinghiale...mmmmmmmmmm)- I think I can adjust to the lamb version in Epcot though! Thanks for posting those menu pics- alot has changed since I was there last May (when it had recently opened).
There's a restaurant in Epcot called Tutto Gusto with delicious-looking deli sandwiches?! Well, you learn something new every day. Im going to have to check that place out. Thanks!
YES! It is between Tutto Italia and Via Napoli...I really want more of both!
F&W looks scrumptious as always. Greece and Ireland are definitely two countries I am dying to try! I did have the Bailey's chocolate cake (hello tiny!) last year.
Greece is my favorite! Yes that cake is tiny but it is so rich!
That cappuccino cupcake from the bakery in the Land is calling my name. I can hear it loud and clear.
It did look very good
We did Boma for dinner last December and I was very impressed. It looks like breakfast there would be just as impressive
Can't wait to see what happens next!
Awesome reviews! All that F&W stuff...yum!
Just noticed we are going to be there in December at the same time! Where are you staying?
if you liked that beer, the purple haze from the same craft beer stand is pretty good, has a berry flavor on the finish...my wife loves those. and they are 100 times better from the draft they pour there than bottle you buy in store...berry weiss, is a very good beer also, glad you tried it.
We did try that tonight, not my favorite but Todd enjoyed it, they sell it at Total Wine and More...hope they sell Berry Weiss too!
we loved this one too, nice crisp flavor on a hot day...
Agreed!
have you tried the rojo veija from the caribbean stand? that is some really good flavored meat there.
Not yet but plan on it tomorrow
we also enjoyed the marinated teriyaki beef from the japan stand.
I loved this!
all the italy dishes.
the kefta pocket was a good seasoned beef from morocco as well.
enjoying seeing the food pics, reminds me of our trip.
Oh no, I'm so heartbroken that the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie was a bummer! I hate when something is advertised as red velvet, but lacks that distinct flavor. I think sometimes they just take white cake and dye it red. Well, thanks for being the guinea pig for them anyway! Now I know not to waste my calories on them.
Okay, this just made me LOL!
This morning started off rainy but quickly dried up. I managed to get Todd to MK for rope drop but it took some bribery on my part
Me: We are going to MK early tomorrow
Todd: Whats your idea of early
Me: Rope drop
Todd: Are you nuts?
Me: You can have a huge cheese danish from Main Street Bakery
Todd: Deal
So we were up and about early, go to MK by 8:30 and waited. We were the first ones in the Main Street Bakery. I had issues with the CMs though, I wanted the ham egg cheese omelet but I didnt want the croissant....I know I can peel it off but I really didnt want to do that because it sticks and I wanted what I wanted! The told me no, they are all premade and I cannot get just the filling. I said ok, fine, these are premade, are there any in the back that I can have. Answer was NO!
So I ordered it as is, Todd had one too. Then he did the slip of the mind move. As I was taking pictures the fool ordered the cinnamon bun. Come on, not this again!
Me: What the heck do you think you are doing?
Todd: Do you see the size of this thing?
Me: Babe, you do not like these, we go through this every single time and every time you dont believe me so you get it and you tell me it tastes like a stale cinnamon bread with nasty icing on top
Todd: No way, I love these things
We get a table, doctor up the coffee and I try to peel this pathetic limp croissant off my egg and it will not come off easily. I get it off the best I can and start to cut up the ham and cheese omelet. The sucker is freaking ice cold! THe cheese is one cold blob in the middle of the egg. How long were these sitting out? I was turned off, Todd was turned off so they went in the garbage can
As I am sipping the coffee I quietly observe my husband as he attempts to eat the loaf of blech.
Me: Whats up buttercup, why are you stabbing your precious cinnamon roll
Todd: Because the thing is rock hard and I am trying to find a soft middle
He finally rips the thing apart and eats a few bites.
Me: How is it?
Todd: Like stale cinnamon bread with nasty icing
Me: When are you going to learn?
Todd: Probably never...where else can we eat?
It is at that precise moment I slap my forehead with my palm and say DOH! I completely forgot about the new waffles by the Hall of Presidents. We high tail it over there and order the nutella waffle with fruit...we both love that. Again we were the only ones there and had to wait 3 minutes for them to make it.
We liked the fruit, the waffle had absolutely no taste whatsoever and there was hardly any nutella on it. I took a bite and had a nice size piece of metal in my mouth..rough metal. There was still half the waffle left and I brought it up to the little manager kid with the metal and explained what happened. All he said was "Thats part of the lid to the nutella, want me to throw this away or are you going to keep eating it" Nothing else, no apology nothing.
So breakfast this morning was a total bust and left a bad taste in our mouth. No way did I want to eat lunch at MK, I was scared off! We did hang out a bit in MK and soon it became super busy. We jumped on the monorail and stopped at the CR for that wonderful cupcake I missed out on the other night
Gingerbread with apple/cranberry filling and maple walnut buttercream.
Holy moly...can you say we died and went to cupcake heaven? THE best cupcake I have ever had in my life! The cake was so moist and had a great gingerbread flavor, the filling was sweet and tart and didnt over power the cake but the winner was the maple buttercream frosting. So creamy smooth, so packed with flavor...we were fighting over it! I would and did go out of my way to eat this again and again and again!
As we sat there with dueling forks the topic of lunch reared its ugly head...where to next Todd?
