Unique Souvenir

I am taking my 4 month old to Disney in October. I know that she will not remember, this trip is for me more then her and I am okay with that. We are Disney veterans, going more then 30 times, as well as I use to work there so we are in no rush to do anything on this trip. It will be very easy going, but I would like to get a unique souvenir for her during this trip.

I was thinking to get a onesie signed by all the characters that we meet, but I am not sure.

Other then the normal ears, button, etc. what else would you recommend as a fun, different souvenir?

The autographed onesie is a great idea! We plan to get our girls the parasols from China in Epcot and have their names written on them in Chinese.

You could do one of those cut out silhouettes in Magic KingdoM. I think they are less than $20

A Christmas ornament! We get ornaments from all our vacations (unless it's somewhere we've been a lot). When we take Z for her first trip, I'm going to let her choose one. When she grows up, she can have it for her Christmas tree. (We have my husband's 1983 Disney ornament from his first trip on our tree!)

I do pick a pearl with my daughter. I started when she was 1.

I wouldn't do the onesie because she'll grow out of it so quickly, and then what are you going to do with it? It seems pointless to save it in a box somewhere. What about a pillowcase? That has a lot more opportunities for long-term use, and you can get it embroidered with her name and the year of your trip, too.

I'd do the onesie and put it in a shadow box with other little mementos from the trip. You don't have to be crafty at all to make a nice little shadow box. It's literally just pinning things inside. It will stay with her forever. I'm going to do that with my son. The last thing we need is more "stuff" sitting in boxes in storage.

Definitely get a tshirt with the year in it and have baby's picture take in it.

I love the onesie in a shadowbox idea. Super Cute! Pre-kids, I have always bought a really nice charm to add to my bracelet with every disney trip. I'm looking forward to starting that tradition with my daughter this year.

The Christmas tree ornament or pick a pearl are winners to me. In our family we buy an ornament on every vacation, Disney or not, and are starting a collection for our boys too.
