I keep hearing all these stories about FP+ glitches and it's making me nervous for our June trip! I'm sure it's frustrating for the CM's too.

Bummer your boys didn't get to pull up the sword. Last Dec when my DS pulled it up I just about flipped out because I'd never seen it go up for anyone before!!! DH didn't get it. He thought it went up every time. I had to explain it to him.

Makes me nervous too!!

I remember when you said your DS pulled it up. How neat for him!!!

I don't remember if the HM always had a FP line before or not. I think it did. We had never used it before though.

the hunted mansion briefly had fastpass when it first came out. It was lees then a year apparently. The machines were by the old keel boat dock.

Well I haven't bought a Disney D&B yet. I keep saying that I wouldn't use it anywhere but on trips and I feel like it's wasted $$.

But the Coach cross body bag I've been using lately has only been used on trips so IDK who I think I'm fooling. I'm sure I'll get a Disney one before too much longer.

I never ever buy a bag unless it's on sale. I just can't rationalize the cost in my brain- so I'm not too fancy.

Belle is the one that's gonna be in bad shape when she grows up. She already has an addiction to them, and yes I admit I did it to her. She is the only girl I know that got a D&B for her 9th bday---- and owns two other Coach's as well. She bought the last one herself bc I wouldn't get it for her.

Nothing but trouble right there.

I can't believe all of that trouble with the FP+! And I mean, come on. That HM CM was ignorant, esp since there was a way to override the FP. Of course you wouldn't tell your kids to run along to BTMRR and you'd see them later. What a tool.

It's possible that the CM was thinking that she was trying to get FPs for both by getting 2 at each. Even so, arguing is very un-Disney.

The Haunted Mansion hasn't usually needed FP, because it has one of the highest capacities of any attraction at WDW.

One of the rumors about FP+ is that they're planning on flushing out the capacity of FP by making it available at attractions that haven't had a need for it in the past. Special fireworks and parade viewing locations are definitely on the list. One of the biggest concerns about the new system is that FP will "sell out" at the most popular attractions very quickly, so they'll need to offer alternatives to people who don't make their reservations before their trips.

We shall see. I'm in the group that just wants them to get the glitches worked out. Luckily, it seems that they're not going to have made much progress in time for my trip in April, but I am worried that they're going to spring something on us at the last minute.

Yeah, I didn't remember ever getting a FP for the HM. I wonder why they are doing the FP+ for it... It generally doesn't have a huge line. We only picked it because we weren't sure what the lines would be like in December.

After the kids finished up their corndogs we headed onto Adventureland!

The Jungle Cruise and Aladdin had kind of long lines, so we passed and went straight to POC! Which had no wait!

Awesome as always!!

After POC DH and I decided to grab a late lunch/early dinner since we were walking by Pecos Bill's!

DH got some kind of chicken wrap and I got the taco salad.

I guess that's all the pics I got in there. We sat in a different section than we usually sit in when we go there. It was kind of neat, but very dark. I don't think we will sit in there again.

We got to order right away since it wasn't too busy in there, but like always it took a long time for them to prepare the food.

DH thought his meal was just okay. My taco salad was good, but too much meat for me! Maybe next time I will ask them to go light on the beef!

Total Bill: $19.37

Our bill at Casey's was: $9.57 and the kids give it 2 thumps up!


After we were done eating it was time for our FP+ for BTMRR!! (We had no trouble using the FP+ here BTW!) So we all rode together once and then DS13 and I rode again (DH & DS11 didn't want a 2nd ride) with the free FP the CM had given us earlier. We realized after we got on the ride that none of the CM's took our FP.

After 2 awesome rides on BTMRR we decided to head over to the new circus themed area in FantasyLand. So we took the train!

We got off there and headed right for the barnstormer. But the line was huge!! So we decided to skip it.

So we messed around there a bit and then went into the big circus tent souvenir shop. As you can see it had been raining on and off that day. I think the biggest rain came when we were in Pecos. So we lucked out!

There never seems to be a line for POTC. We all love BTMRR. It's one of the few that we can all enjoy as a family. I think one year we were able to ride like 3x in a row early in the morning.

We always seem to luck out on the rain at Disney too. Almost every time it has rained while we have been there, it has happened while we were in a restaurant or on a ride. I only remember us getting drenched once.

Your taco salad looked really good! I love a taco salad! I might have to get that next time... if I can get DH to eat somewhere other than CHH which is unlikely. We do love that place! We've never eaten at Casey's either. We tried to eat there once but it was close to parade time and I waited almost an hour and still got no food! We haven't tried going back since then. Maybe next time though.

I LOVE BTMRR! I don't now what it is about that little coaster, but I love it. I laugh the whole time I'm riding it! Glad you got 2 turns!!

I can't believe Barnstormer had a long line. You're only on that thing for 1.2 seconds! How could it possibly have a line!

I'm hopeful that Disney knows what they're doing, and it will actually benefit most of us (I've never been one to get more than maybe 5 FPs in a day anyways) but it will be frustrating if it becomes nearly impossible to do more than one headliner in a day with a wait shorter than 30 minutes.

Peco's taco salad is very good. They actually just give you the shell and the meat and you make the rest at the fixin's bar. We've still never been to CHH. Maybe someday! Yes, you've got to watch what time you go to Casey's. If it's around a parade time or right at peak lunch or dinner you might as well forget it, the place will be packed!

I love BTMRR too!! I can't believe it had a shorter line than the Barnstormer. You are right, that ride is so dang short. There was no way I was waiting for that.

It sure will be! I hope we are still able to get the FP's we want and that the new system doesn't mess everything up.
