I know that but my mom always made coffee in the hotel! That's why! If you understand Nancyg56! and thanks for the info! Which building is closer to the lobby so Mom and I can't walk very far!
Hi everyone! It's been fun reading through people's reviews and looking at all of the beautiful pictures. I'll be going in February with my DD and it looks like a lot of fun! I had a question about the sea serpent slide. Can you stand at the bottom to catch your children?
Hey Girl! It's so good to hear from you. Thanks for your posting your opinion of FQ. I am really looking forward to staying there. We visited there on our last visit and I really fell in love with it! I see by your ticker that you have another trip planned. Where are you staying? Hope you have a fabulous trip!
All of this bus talk has me thinking. If you have an early ADR (8 ish) is it better to take your own car or do the buses get you there in time? I would hate to miss a much anticipated ADR due to buses.
Thanks
Debbie

It's hard to beat bldg #5 fr being close to the food court and lobby. I wish I remembered the room # we stayed in, but it was ground floor and about two door from the lobby/fc end of bldg #5. It was maybe a 25 yard walk to the food court -very convenient for mug refill runs! Best of all noise was not a factor at all for us. There's probably a map somehwere on here that can pinpoint which exact rooms are best.

I see that your question has been answered but I want to share my ironing secret. I always iron everything so when we leave my clothes are pressed. They never arrive in the same condition that they were in when I packed but I hate to iron on vacation. I bring a small bottle of Downey Wrinkle Release. Just hang your things up and spritz them. smooth them out a little by hand and your clothes are wrinkle free. That stuff got expensive so now I make my own.
A couple T fabric softener, a couple T rubbing alcohol and fill the bottle with water. You can also use a dryer sheet instead of the liquid softener if you choose. I never have used the sheet but I read that it works.
I avoid Gettysburg as much as possible, especially during the summer. I haven't even eaten at the Dobbin House, can you believe it? We're fifteen miles west of Gettysburg in the next county, so we don't have much need of going into Gettysburg, except for outlet shopping.
