The I am a pirate/fireman, I am not a hijacker thread, all about nothing in general

So people, lesson learned today.

Off to the osteo about my injury, and I have a new injury.

Listen very carefully.

I have stretched my muscles across the top of my ribs (technical term no idea) from vacuuming.

I will not be vacuuming anymore, I better get a cleaner  :dancer:

sorry you got hurt ....

so,....

what exactly did you do (step by step instructions preferred) so that i can also get out of the dreaded vacuuming ...:rotfl:

:badpc:

who knew a little light housework was something you had to limber up for.... ??

maybe they should make a workout video for women -- housework 101 --

'now run that vacuum, run that vacuum, and breathe, and breathe. and fold those clothes and fold those clothes, count it down for me, 3, 2, 1 and stretch to put the groceries away, and stretch ... hold it!!!

lmao

Don't forget to 'bend and snap'.

yep.....A universal fact re vacuuming is that it is regarded as
a. a sport
b. recreational activity
c. extreme sport not covered by travel insurance
d. something my mother does when she comes to visit

then yes, you need to stretch, but also dont vacuum for at least an hour after eating as you may cramp up.

Up there with
a. Dont drink and post
b. dont drink and operate heavy machinery ie vacuum cleaner, electric toothbrush, hair clippers
c. dont drink and order dodgy indian food from the same place you got sick last time
d. dont drink then ring your mother with a great idea re changes in the arrangements for Christmas that have been in place for the last 20 years and expect a positive outcome.

you have been warned!

so it seems that we are not the type to go out friday nights -- yay!!!

plus, drinking at home = cheaper = more money for the trip :wizard:

Even better when you're drinking birthday gifts

Bourbon i've never tried until Sunday just gone, and haven't left it since, can't be bad

followed by
"hello, Ambulance...yes I was bending and snapping and now I'm broken...send help....but make sure he's tall, strapping and can at least carry a tune......."..

"yes, a tune...but must know all the words to Wham's greatest hits, yes I know that's only 2 songs and can we stop off for a slurpee??"

Up there with

b. dont drink and operate heavy machinery ie vacuum cleaner, electric toothbrush, hair clippers

Light machinery such as fishing spears, electric carvers and the like are excluded.

you have been warned!
