We left dinner at Kona, stuffed and feeling pretty good! We head over to the monorail and take it over to Magic Kingdom. Now THAT IS NICE!!! I forgot to say earlier that we drove our own car to the Poly, by the way. It was nice to not have to catch the tram from the MK parking lot.
Here are some pic's from our first journey to MK this trip! Walking in....
Flat Jordan's first trip down Main Street. He and DS wanted to run so that they could get to the "ride of the evening".....Buzz Lightyear!! I told them to take it slow and enjoy the scenery.
We take a right and head into....
We stop off at Buzz Lightyear and get these....(FJ was super excited! I mean, he's been carrying that ray gun around for a while now!)
After snagging the fastpasses, we head over to the "blue ride" as DS calls it....It is now known as the "Tomorrowland Transit Authority" but I still call it the "People Mover". (notice in his lower hand that he has his little flashlight ready for the dark parts.
)
Flat Jordan had a good time being the mascot of our "train" on the TTA...
When we got off of TTA, we still had a few minutes before Buzz so I suggested the Carousel of Progress. I have no pictures of this but we really did have a good time. We have not been on this "ride" since 1997 because we didn't think DS would sit still for it before. He LOVED it!! We had a good time and were glad to enjoy a nice Disney classic. When we got out of Carousel, it was time for BUZZ!!
DS and DH rode together and I rode with FJ! Here is our ride photo....
I will add in here that we rode this ride an uncountable number of times this trip.
I didn't take pictures of it every time. We just enjoyed riding it with DS because he loves it so much. DH and I were pretty tired of Buzz by the end of this trip.
After Buzz, we made our way around MK riding whatever we could and just taking it all in. We actually rode a pretty good amount of rides this night. We caught the jungle boat ride just before it closed. We were the last family to be let on the completely full boat. By this time I had forgotten that we were dressed alike. While we were focusing on getting ds into the boat without falling, the driver made a joke about us. We didn't hear what she said but it was obviously a cheap shot because most of the boat said "ooooh!!!" and then there was laughter. Everyone was staring at us with huge eyes like we were supposed to be offended but I just smiled and shrugged my shoulders thinking...."WHATEVER!! Get on with the ride" She then proceeded to drag out whatever it was that she said for over half of the ride. Instead of doing her "ride speech" she just kept laughing and repeating to everyone besides us...."I'm sorry, I just had to do it" "you leave yourself open" "I saw a shot and had to take it" BLA BLA BLA.... I finally shot her some eyes and she started with the ride speech. I have no idea what she said and at first didn't think anything of it and didn't care. They pick on people and do little jokes....no biggie. But the way she went on and on about it and judging by other peoples faces, she didn't say something very "disney like". I'm kind of glad I didn't actually hear her. I really had no desire to repeat a confrontation incident like earlier with toe lady.
After we got off of the boat ride from hell.....we headed over to Pirates and watched the tutorial. I have no other pictures from our night at MK other than when we stopped by the Treehouse to watch Wishes. I tried out different camera settings during the fireworks. Some came out better than others....
I hate the negative tone my TR has taken because of these stupid incidents. I will say that unfortunately there is one more negative during this trip but it was quickly turned into a VERY COOL POSITIVE!! .....but you'll have to wait till later for that one.
Up next.....Day 4-PART 1 ~ Cinco de Mayo at EPCOT!
