OK I think I am caught up on this post. Didn't even know it was here & it seems some pictures are no longer available to view. The ones that are are awesome! A couple of things I have shared but not in this post. Glad to know this is here.

Made for a friend & her daughters for a Disney trip.

Love the blanket! :thumbsup2 Is it crochet? I haven't quite got the hang of that yet.

Thank you! Yes, it's crochet. It's just singles and doubles. I really like how it turned out but it seemed like i was never going to finish. :rotfl:

mommie2angels : please please please tell me how you made those fabulous necklaces, they would be great favors for my DD birthday! How difficult are they to make? I like to try to make things but am not always sucessful to any tips would be appreciated.

Oh thank you so much! Which ones? They are all easy to make. The glass tile ones you create your image or get an image from the Internet. I print onto photo paper. Put some type of adhesive such as diamond glaze, 3D lacquer, modge podge or resin on the glass to adhere it to the image. Then you coat the back with one of the same adhesives to protect it.

The bottle caps are basically the same except I run the image through the little Xyron sticker maker to adhere to the bottlecap. Then I use
Resin on top. You can use epoxy dots if you would rather but I love to pour resin so I use that.

The silver tiles that the Princess Tiana ones are in I again run my image through the xyron sticker maker to adhere to tray. I use an epoxy dot on those because I seem to get too many bubbles with the resin inside the tray.

I hope this helps. If it's not clear instructions or you have questions please let me know. Thanks!

Here's a blanket I just finished for a friend who's due in August. The colors remind me of Buzz lightyear.

I made a couple of blankets for a friend to give to her little twin nieces.

Here they are laid out side by side.

I can also personalize them if the baby name is 5 letters or less!
There is so much talent here! I love it all!

The raised letters are fantastic!

Well said! Those blankets are all so beautiful! If both of you don't mind me asking, what size blankets do you usually make for infants? What kind of yarn do you like to work with?

Are either of you on Ravelry? My projects are saved there. My ID is filypretzel if you wanted to see them.

Thank you for sharing these!

I use just soft baby yarns. I like the yarns with floss in them. I don't really measure my blankets, but I do tend to make them a little large so that the baby can use them for a good 2 years or more. I am on ravelry. I don't go there very often but I am there. I also use crochetville. That place rocks!!!

Thanks!

For this blanket I used Lion Brand Hometown USA and an N hook. The yarn is really thick but still soft and it worked up so quick!

For the blanket I made a few months back I used Baby Bernat and I thought I would never finish! :rotfl:

I would say they are both about 36X36 or so. I usually just keep going until it looks right. :confused3

Thanks for the replies! I don't know any knitters/crocheters in my area, so I am glad to hear from others!

HI Everyone :wave2:
Glad I found y'all.
I am a beginner crocheter...only been doing it since last summer-ish.
Here are a few of my projects: (and I seem to be on a ripple pattern kick)
The two color projects (2 red/white ones and 1 green/gold are for HS graduations and they are the college colors. I did not voluntarily choose those colors.)
