Surprise! We're NOT going to Disney! 9/18-9/25 <<Update 3/24 Page 21>>

Good thing you put sunscreen on or you would've been a lobster!

What a wonderful ending to the night.

Look...another smile!
I know... we are on a roll now. :rotfl2:

It sure didn't; or you'd been hitting up the liquor cabinet.
:rotfl2:

Yes, I believe you are right there Mr. Genius.
Well, she could of had something else with sauce. :roll eyes:

Very nice of them to do that, Mr. Red.
Yea, I was a tad burned.

He looks like he knows this is his last one...poor guy.
I know... his parents didn't even buy him on win Disney. :sad2:

You've got to stop hitting that liquor cabinet.
Lucky I didn't drink all the rum. :scratchin

I gather Ana slept on top.
Yup... we couldn't put crazy boy up there. :rotfl:

This kid cracks me up.
See, crazy.

Nice pictures; but I told you to stay out of that liquor cabinet.
It was only beer.

Hmmmm....wonder if the people who were Mickey were listening to that?
Didn't seem like it.

Seriously, do you have a pool in your backyard? That girl never wants to get out of the water.
Yup. She swims all the time. She loves it.

YAY...my part is coming up.
Eventually. :rolleyes2

wow, 2 for 1 drinks would definitely keep me at the beach until at least 3pm :)
You have to get the deals when you can.

too bad the line for Mickey was so long - but at least you got to meet Goofy later.
The character lines were long the whole time onboard. We did luck out seeing Goofy though.

Dinner sounds great - love the idea of a side of beef and yeah, I think it is safe to surmise that Gabby got the pasta :rotfl: Also that you got a bit of sun ;)
I was a little toasty. :rotfl:

I should of ordered a side of beef with every meal. :rotfl2:

Gabby enjoyed her meal. :rotfl2:

Wow - to be on a boat doing the same show for 3 years! That case definitely must have been full of mixed emotions performing that show.
There were a lot of tears at the end but I'm sure in some small way there was a relief for them to be done.

You all must have had some mixed emotions as well seeing the cruise portion of the trip come to an end but knowing there was more adventure to come
It was sad... I was wishing we did the 4 day instead of the 3 day. It was just too short.

Oh yes Sir - Look who got some sun. :sunny:
Ya think? :rotfl2:

Nice last night for a cruise. Looks like everything was going smooth and dinner and the show were great.
I think the last night was the most relaxed. Who would of guessed that? :confused3

Nice that Juliana had some big girl time to shop and swim.
Shopping and swimming are her favorite 2 things! :rotfl:

BOO!!

Just read 19 pages worth of Awesomeness! Thanks for a beautiful beginning of 3 weeks off of Nursing School. After tomorrow's party (I am such a moron for agreeing to host it!) I am free to spend ridiculous amounts of hours wasting time (errr.... spending great amounts of time hanging with my DISFriends) here. ;)

:welcome: Liesa!!!

It's nice to have you here!!! :yay:

I'm glad you will get a little break from school! :goodvibes

Thanks for stopping in!!!

Sorry I've been MIA.. I was away from my brother's wedding, Christmas preparations going on, and just the normal running around with the kids. I hope everyone is doing well... :goodvibes

Waking up on the last day of a cruise has to be one of the most depressing feelings.... good thing we still had our second vacation to look forward to. While having the early dinner (5:45pm) worked out great for, well, dinner, on disembarkation day it gives you the early time for breakfast... 6:45am. Even though we were up by 6:30, packing up after 5 people took us till 7:30. We just went up to Cabanas for the buffet.

With our bellies full it was time to say good-bye to the Dream.

The kids were sad as they thought vacation was over. We did tell them we were going to stop over their cousin's house for a bit before we had to head home.

Anyone want to guess the first thing Juliana asked to do once we got to her cousin's house? Swim of course. We had her wait a few minutes- we did want to get a picture of all the kids together.

Well, I guess that was as good as we were going to get.

We made them suffer enough. Time to go swimming!

The kids swam for a few hours and we had lunch. Then it was time for us to say our goodbyes. It is always sad saying goodbye to the cousins because the kids get along so well together.

Once we pulled out of the driveway, Juliana was complaining and asking why we couldn't go to Disney and how she wanted to ride her favorite rides and how we could be in Florida and not go to Disney.

Melody's cousins only lives 20 minutes from Disney and we just happen to drive that way to get to the airport. We just happen to get stuck at the light directly across from the Disney sign.

The sulking and whining started.

As the light turned green, I took a right onto Hotel Plaza Boulevard and the mood quickly went from sad to ecstatic!

WE WERE GOING TO DISNEY!!!!!

Hey, I was excited too! Not only was I excited to be staying in Disney, but this was going to be a different type of stay- our first stay as DVC members! We booked a 1BR Theme Park View at Bay Lake Tower. This was our 10 year anniversary trip, so we had to go big. I'm sure every other stay will be compared to this one.

We checked in and the room wasn't ready yet so we went out to check out the pool.

Melody and I were searching around to see if there was anyone we knew at the pool.... but no, there wasn't. We walked over to the Contemporary pool.

As we continued walking we did see someone with a familiar face... eventually, Juliana spotted her too.

Melody's mom flew down and was going to be staying with us for the WDW portion of our trip.

It took a few minutes for Christopher to figure it out.

Once we found Grammy, we walked back over to BLT and grabbed a drink at the bar. I got a message that the room was ready. Time to go check it out....

I'll save the room pics for later but we had a nice view...

DCL busses-

Looking toward Magic Kingdom.

We didn't have much time, but Melody, Juliana, and I had to hurry over to MK to activate our APs and pick up the TIW card before dinner.

Up next... Dinner and Frozen overload

He's alive!!!! But obviously confused since he was "away" from his brother's wedding. :lmao::lmao:

I'm off to bed; I'll read your update tomorrow.

Thanks for the warm welcome! It's nice to pop in once in a while and catch with everyone's latest trips!

Yay! You're at Disney! In BLT no less!

I love that your MIL came in for this portion. And I love the kids' faces when they saw her. :goodvibes

The view is great over to the MK! And way to get your hustle on getting over there quickly to take care of business!

Hey with that many kids, not bad at all.

Well, I guess that was as good as we were going to get.

She was excited to see her Grandma.

Such a cute experience for your kids to swim with fish in the water.

The pumpkin tree was in full bloom, :upsidedow

Gabby’s spaghetti face, Christopher’s Mickey Bar face, and your red face….:rotfl:

Love your take on trying to get the perfect pic of all the kids. Lol

Cute reactions of Juliana and Christopher at seeing Grammy.

Awesome to have a post cruise trip to the World! and stay at Bay Lake Tower! woo hoo

Hi! Enjoying your school break?

Jill in CO

How could I not with nearly unlimited time to be here in my favorite place?! ;);)

It is nearly KILLING me to have to wait to launch my PTR! But I write and I plan, and I long for school to be done, so I can help make people well and keep myself well with yearly trips. :thumbsup2:beach:

It's going great! Can't say I'm totally off the hook with studying, but definitely a more relaxed pace. Over break, I get to learn all about diabetes, peri-operative nursing, and several other topics for the first exam a week after the term starts.

For sure! Anticipation will help a ton! I can't WAIT to start my PTR right after school is done in June!! I've already got my Day 1 planned and I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the first 2 park tickets.

Sorry, Tim, I have now hijacked your sweet little TR. (Well, actually, not really.)

I don't know how you kept all those secrets but what a wonderful trip and surprise with Grandma showing up!!!!! :cool1:

Your surprise looks like it was a big hit! You guys played it very well.

Juliana really did make quite the convincing argument, not that you needed it. I mean if you're going to be driving by anyway... :rolleyes1
